Is it plausible that these days Texas to be totally a Red State?

Lloyd Millard Bentsen Jr. (February 11, 1921 – May 23, 2006) was an American politician who was a four-term United States Senator (1971–1993) from Texas and the Democratic Party nominee for vice president in 1988 on the Michael Dukakis ticket. He also served as the 69th United States Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton.

These were liberal democrat politicians from Texas in 1990s. Now, with the growing Hispanics residents in Texas, is it plausible that these days Texas to be totally a Red State?

I never put much stock in the whole "red state"/"blue state" idea, since states can be just as politically diverse as the country itself. However, it might be more helpful to look at red counties vs. blue counties, as illustrated in this map of the 2016 election.

What is a “totally Red State”? Massachusetts often elects Republican Governors (e.g., the current one) and Republican candidates for various offices win in each election, despite all of its counties being blue on the map in post #3. In the past 40 years there have been more Republican Governors than Democratic ones. California regularly elects Republican Governors and various elected officials, including in those blue counties above.

I think both parties are pro-capitalist, even if there might be some degree of difference.

People that want to live in areas where you can make more money and be more prosperous. Democratic controlled areas are always wealthier than capitalist policy areas.

Wealth is not the most important issue, quality of life is. That is unless you don't care about the quality of ones life.
