Questions...

There were people on earth long before Jesus lived, so those people had no chance; this totally made no sense to me
I think they would say that those people would be covered under God's grace and be resurrected in the end times
If God is human like (like a Father) then He must be very huge to be able to create the universe, which is pretty big.
I think Christians believe God is a spirit
At age 10 this did not make sense to me. Still now, this God concept makes no sense to me.
Maybe it isn't supposed to make sense
Satan concept I find really sickening. So I stay far away from that. It is fine with me if others fancy to believe in this, but I don't want this in my mind
Yeah I agree

But Satan just can't understand spiritual issues...he and the demons had that ability taken away from them. They are in "dense spiritual darkness."
OK didn't know that... but maybe he was trying to kill Jesus before He could die on the cross...

One is always able to study and find out the truth about God and become infallible in ones undertakings (become God in human form). It is achieved through yoga of truth accommodation, the Hindu path that I have personally identified as something that has worked for me.

I smiled because I believe every person should be able to believe in whatever they find as the truth without being proselytized by someone else. So I was just acknowledging your comments as something that I have been through in the past.
OK I understand. What have you learned so far from walking your path?

True friendship is stronger than disagreements. Its very difficult introducing you to this topic, so I am going to list some verses which inspire me about this. James says that we quarrel because of pride, and he and others say that general all human speech is flawed. I perceive a doctrine that our ideas are lower than God's truth and that we are all equally liars compared with God, so there is not only occasional contradictory positions but continual contradictions between us until we die. At the same time we are supposed to try to understand, however multiple interpretations are expected.
  • Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity."
  • 1 John 1:9-10 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."
  • Romans 3:2-5 "Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God. What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: 'So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.' "
  • Romans 3:11 "...there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God..."
  • 1 Corinthians 8:1 "...knowledge puffs up, but love builds up..."
  • 1 Peter 2:15 "For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people."
Those are some favorites, but there are at least 30 more like them. Multiple interpretations ought to be expected and allowed for. It seems that very strictly the NT teaches what matters is how you live not what you know or agree about. In general preachers do not like this, because it tends to threaten their jobs. Politicians also don't find it convenient. What they find convenient are squabbling Christians.

Clearly they were not protected and suffered harm. There are two interpretations or more of why. One of them is in Job.
OK I understand but what you believe influences how you live, right?
And I think they suffered harm because they were God's people and broke His laws...

That the purpose of life is to exist to one's full potential as @Sunstone advocates.
OK, cool... that makes sense. Who guides you on the process of fulfilling your potential though and what about people who die young and don't get to fulfill their potential?

I guide myself. People who die young have fulfilled their potentials.

So kids who got cancer or got killed or who perished due to starvation and even aborted or miscarried babies fulfilled their potential... how? How can you fulfill your potential if you've never even lived?

It is all to do with your genetics - have you heard of DNA?

Yes I've heard of DNA but what does that have to do with fulfilling one's potential?
DNA arrangements explains what the individual potentials are for the growth of the individual. Without this information no one can know how to live fully.

Explain the potential of an aborted or miscarried baby to me.

Is it all part of some divine plan?
No one can know the mind of God in terms of why He created the universe: one can only learn from God as much as one needs for one's survival to one's genetic potential on this Earth.
