The Trump Effect & The New Democrats

While there's great disagreement over various Trump agendas, there's wide agreement
that he's candid with his opinions. (Some might say "honest", others "boorish".)
People are becoming less restrained in their insults, ribald language, open hostility,
& even calls for violence. Democrats haven't ignored Trump's success over their rather
wooden chosen one. So in this recent election, they unleash their own versions of Trump.

The New Democrats speak....
New congresswoman curses out Trump in call for impeachment

Quoted from the article.....
It didn't take long for new Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib to introduce herself to President Donald Trump and the nation. And she did so in the most profane way possible.

Tlaib, who was sworn in as Michigan's representative from the 13th Congressional District on Thursday afternoon, was speaking at an event for progressive advocacy group MoveOn.org when she relayed a conversation with her son to the crowd: "And when your son looks at you and says, 'Momma, look you won, bullies don’t win,' and I said, 'Baby they don't,' because we’re gonna go in and impeach the motherf-----."

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib sounds like a terrorist who promises bully tactics, while acting self righteous and holier than thou. She is pandering to her base, which has Trump living rent free in their heads.

The problem is, getting rid of the symbolic Trump, even if possible, will not exorcize their demons. Their real demons are connected to the hypocrisy of their own leadership. The modern Progressives movement came from the love generation and who did their own thing. Their leadership is cold, two faced, deceitful, hateful and walks lock step. The leaders speak about helping people, yet they act like a KKK lynch mob. This does not add up properly.

The Democrats wanted a DACA path for immigrant children. This sounds os compassionate. When Trump offered one, they showed their true colors. DACA was only a pawn that was sacrificed without blinking an eye. The Democrats are all on record as saying we need a wall, now their other face is talking. Their entire base is a pawn that will be sacrificed if need be. Leadership does not keep promises but is only interested in its own power.

This has created unconscious conflict in the base, due to the conflict seen between leadership actions and words. The base can still be manipulated, but its demons can never be exorcized by two faced hypocrisy and hate. This will backfire on the Democrats. They lost the middle class. They promised workers protections from cheap labor and then decide to open the border to cheap labor and send jobs over seas. They are also starting to lose the black vote, since they never deliver on their promises.

So you're saying Trump has become a role model for the left?

WWMRD?
I am glad to see that 2019 is starting out this way, these far left whack jobs are an endless source of amusement but unfortunately it says much about the people that elected them.

You do revel in simplistification...

On the other hand, Trump promised:
...to reopen the steel mills. The Sheeples believed him.
...to reopen the coal mines. The Sheeples believed him.
...to keep and expand automobile manufacturing in the US. The Sheeples believed him.
...to build a wall between US and Mexico that the Mexicans would pay for. The Sheeples believed him.

In the first full year of his policies, the DOW lost 5.6%.

As opposed to all the RW pundits calling for Obama's impeachment over phony scandals?

Here's a short rundown of other White House scandals (or "scandals") that have led Republicans to call for Obama's impeachment (and for the full list, Wikipedia has you covered):

Few things get tea-party conservatives' blood boiling faster than Benghazi, the IRS scandal, and the Affordable Care Act. But it's not just middle-class Joes at tea-party rallies who get exercised about the idea of impeaching the president. Last week, McKay Coppins wrote about upper-crust conservatives' efforts to join the Impeach Obama movement. At a tony event at the Harvard Club in Manhattan, elite conservatives celebrated the release of a new book titled Faithless Execution: Building the Political Case For Obama's Impeachment.

Well if you consider that his opinions are the same as he gets from Fox which changes by the hour and which have no truth behind them, I suppose you're right.

But then you go ahead and criticize someone for being candid with her opinion. You go ahead and tell it like it is Rashida Tlaib. Three cheers for you.

You approve of Democrats adopting Trump's style, eh.
Oh, dear.

Btw, I criticized all such boorish behavior.
Is that not inherent in criticizing Democrats
who now behave as badly as Trump?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset about what the lady said.
Trump is the father of several children. All those children have mothers. Those mothers all had those children because Donal Trump had coitus with them.
