Yes, but not nearly as much. We have weekends off unless we are actively engaged in a conflict and the hours are similar to civilian ones, depending on your internal job.
So a good time to invade England would be Saturday or Sunday because the military doesn't work on the weekend?

Rest assured, the foreign enemies of the crown will not hear that me!

We do it by rote,
The Muslim soldiers don't work on Fridays, so the Christian and Jewish soldiers do.
The Jewish soldiers don't work on Shabbat, so the Christian and Muslim soldiers do.
The Christian soldiers don't work on Sundays, so the Jewish and Muslim soldiers do.
And all of them work Mon-Thurs.

Revoltistanian soldiers avoid war on Sunday thru Monday.
Any interest in joining up.
The pay is low, but so is the risk.

Have you ever met someone good enough at refuting arguments that you find it irritating?
Not really. I often find myself poking holes in my own arguments, which I think annoying but useful. I have discovered some posters here whose arguments, whether I agree with them or not, I find myself reading; such as Quintessence, Augustus, Brickjectivity and Salixincendium.

It is the task and obligation of any researcher
to poke holes in his ideas, knowing the easiest
to fool is himself.
