Aspiring Muslim Looking for Resource Suggestions

I came to understand and appreciate the beauty of Islam by studying it through the lens of the Hadith of Jibreel and then reading a translation of the Qur'an. And thank goodness for the podcasts on Muslim Central and SeekersHub. I am looking for suggestions of other resources, in print or online, that you have found to be useful for newer Muslims to learn and deepen their iman. Also, probably equally important, are there resources to best be avoided? Thanks!

La ilaha illa Allah wa Muhammad rasul Allah.

Your best best would be to refer to www.shiachat.com

As Salaam Alaikum

Philosophically, I am Muslim, though neither and both Sunni and Shia. I think the division between Muslims only discredits both beliefs. I was once a nodding and bobbing Sunni, but no more. It is more important what is in the depths of your heart, than showing up at a Masjid to be leered at and abused by the men. Most Muslim practices nowadays seem to discount the practices of Muhammad PBUH, and that is sad.

Did this seriously happen at a masjed?!!! What sick perverted creatures.
I've been to Masjed's a lot but have never seen this behavior. However, I can only speak about Shia Masjed's in Iran. So maybe this is a cultural thing elsewhere, although it is strictly against our teachings.

I am not Shia, though will not criticise them. The hatred between Shia and Sunni is abomination to me.
