Why do Christians side with Jews more than Muslims?

You are going to disappoint and upset an awful lot of Mohammedans if you are saying that he did not exist.

I said that both him and Jesus did exist, but that there isn't a great deal of difference between the amount of evidence for him compared to Jesus. It's slightly stronger, but not much.

So you can't say there is a very strong case for one, but not the other.

I am more concerned about how it affects modern society.

Everyone has an opinion, so whom do you believe?

This man talks a lot of sense.

Does it matter if he did not exist if enough people believe that he did?

Christians that I meet have little regard for either the Jewish or Islamic faith. and have even less reason to compare them.

From my own point of view I acknowledge that Christianity has its roots in Judaism, while it has no such connection with Islam, which appears to be an entirely separate religion with very few points of similarity.
But Islam seems to claim a link with Abraham and the early forerunners of Judaism, though it can demonstrate no such continuous link, as Islams founder never believed in the Jewish faith nor had any connection with it.
