I am am satisfied to live the number of days God determines for my life, since I don't think I can choose otherwise and believe His wisdom is concerning the time is superior to mine anyway.

A man’s days are numbered. You know the number of his months. He cannot live longer than the time You have set. Job 14:5

I dropped a coin last week it did not roll or spin, it just stood on its rim on the kitchen floor.
I was quite shocked I have never seen that before.

Firstly, I don't consider the physical body as me, so I think of it in terms of dropping this physical body. Observation of others dying has me thinking it would be good to go without much suffering in the last weeks, or days. Some cancers are painful, and it lasts far too long. Alzheimers is painful to the survivors. So as long as this physical body isn't full of pain, I'd like it to stick around.

I find God did determine at Psalms 90:10 that our basic lifespan is 70 or 80 years.
That does Not mean any specific day or time, or as Ecclesiastes 7:17 says don't be foolish and die before your time.
If we continue reading to Job 14:7 Job thinks since there is hope for a cut-down tree to sprout again, so that means there is the Resurrection Hope, or as Job 14:13-15 believed God would call Job, and on Resurrection Day Job would answer God's call to bring him back from the dead. Then at that Resurrection Time there will be No 70 or 80 years but 'everlasting years' because 'enemy death' will be No more on Earth as per 1 Corinthians 15:24-26.

The terminal illness I can understand, but in the realm of the hypothetical, imagine that you were born a quadriplegic, then do you think you would want to die?

In Scripture, I find there will be humans left because on the right will be figurative humble 'sheep'-like people here.
Jesus will separate people and place humble meek people at his right hand of favor - Matthew 25:31-33,37,40.
At this coming time there will be No need to ever feel tired of living because according to Revelation 22:2 there will be ' healing ' for earth's nations. Then, No one will say, " I am sick...." according to Isaiah 33:24.
Even ' enemy death ' will be No more on Earth as per 1 Corinthians 15:26.
This is why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Revelation 22:20 for Jesus to come !
Come so that mankind on Earth can see the return of the Genesis 'Tree of Life' for the ' healing' of earth's nations.
This is in fulfillment to God's promise to father Abraham that ALL families of Earth and ALL nations will be blessed.
Blessed with the benefit of healing for earth's nations - Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18.

I obviously don't believe in the scripture or give a damn about it. It's nothing more than the superstitions and stories of ancient peoples.

If i could decide when to die. That would be in 1 zillion years.

I would use all that time to literally DO every job/career in existence. Then with all that knowledge, make the world the best it could possibly be.

I would love to live forever as I already do but i'm not an atheist but a very good angel and I'm not just an angel but a member of the holy cross so don't judge me but i like helping people but i give not force it just give it. So if anyone needs $200 and i have it I give but I would never give indiscriminately so ask me if i have a reason to live........i will tell you but just ask and I'll tell you but its not the reason I'm on this forum. I'm here to give love, hope and wisdom so tell yall what I'll be here for two weeks and if nobody likes me or respects me by then i wont leave but give anyway because in two weeks I'll be dead but not physically but spiritually as I need to do this for my sanity as nobody knows why I'm mentally ill but i'm really not and here goes the kill, I'm not here for myself but on behalf of the love I advocate for so take me as I am because i will never change, that being said, i love life.........

I was thinking the opposite. What if my family were a burden to me should I want to live on. My younger brother died of colon cancer at 41. He suffered unimaginable pain and hardship because his wife and son didn't want him to go.
