They Are Not Christians!

Can't argue if that is what is being projected. It is religious cannibalism:
Galatians 5:15 The Passion Translation (TPT)
15 But if you continue to criticize and come against each other over minor issues, you’re acting like wild beasts trying to destroy one another!

Then you have the other end of the spectrum.

I came in and stood in a long line at 10 in the morning as I was greeted by attendants with smiles and a warm welcome. In line there were all sizes, shapes and colors from every age. A buzz of talk permeated throughout the line.

As the doors finally opened, every entrance is lined with an excited welcome team. The smell of coffee, tea and some treats are there for those who come in. Excitement is everywhere, smiles are everywhere, hugs are abundant as they file into the sanctuary.

The countdown starts on the big screens and when it hits 0 a loud rumble of praise erupts and the worship begins. Hands are lifted up, young people are jumping up and down in praise, hearts are filled with joy as a beautiful exchange begins to happen as we sense the presence of God through worship.

The message is uplifting, real, transparent and heart felt. An opportunity to give yourself to God through Jesus is offered at the end of the service. Literally dozens of people lift their hands in acknowledgment of their need of a Savior. A Bible is given to each of them.

As we leave, we see another long line of people that weaves around the block is waiting to get in as the process repeats itself at 12pm; 2pm; 6pm and 8pm.

The church was 2 years old in NY City. Today they have four locations.

The Church is growing.

What part are you from?

Thankyou very much for the Galatians chapter/verse. :)

I live in Kent, England, and have never seen or heard of any religious receptions such as you have described in my life. I went out this morning to buy duck feed and the roads were full of travelers, but the churches will have been mostly empty, Ken. I sincerely believe that apart from convenience-faith we are nearly a secular society.

Convenience-faith has various faces, but, for instance, many prisoners will tick the religion boxes because it adds colour to their otherwise bland lives. :)

Ken, my wife tells me that her boss goes to an experience just like that. It's called 'Glastonbury'. Quite secular but sometimes just the same kind of mass-hysteria. :D

LOL...

They said that about those who followed Jesus too. We are in good company.

It seems to me that Christians love to do this. Possibly because they don't want to be associated with the more... deplorable sects, eh?

Oh for God's sake.

I'll tell you someone who isn't a Christian. Hillary Clinton. Oh sure, she may attend church but when you call a mass of people deplorable (literally means to disapprove of but it also carries connotation of to feel sad for, as in to pity), and irredeemable (someone forgot or never learned the concept of grace, you said quite literally that someone is beyond grace). That is, strictly speaking, not a church teaching. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. To smugly judge people worthy of pity and disapproval, and to say that even were they to repent they could never be saved is something religiously very wrong.

Just know you were the one who trollbaited politics, so let's give you sound beating, shall we? The UN has a map of 10 regions of the world. Revelation 17:12 and Daniel 7:24 both reference end times and how to recognize evil government. 10 kingdoms. End times prophecy also references a whore of Babylon, someone who is an epitome of the secular world. Many of the liberal hags in power qualify, but stand outs are Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. Lastly, we see mention of a Mark of the Beast. If you haven't figured out, a cattle brand, a way of tracking ppl. RFID microchips or whatever comes after them.

All of this is globalist. So, you've chosen to be followers of AntiChrist, and it shows.

Thanks for the chapter and verses.

Question: Deuteronomy translates into 'second reading' or something like that? I think it is a repetition of the old laws. Therefore, do you know where Deut 18:10-12 was first written?

@Tumah might be able to help us with this one, I reckon.
I'm not sure which one you're looking for, but the beginning and end of Lev. 20 mentions some of the practices listed in Deut. 18:-10-12.

The above sent to another member....

Just to say I'm glad that it wasn't your soup 'n' chat table I found myself at.... :p

Question........

Why was Deuteronomy necessary, Tumah?
Since it seems to parrot all that was written before, how does it add to the bible?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that it parrots everything that was written before. I see that almost one third of the total commandments (about 200) are found only in Deuteronomy. Yes, we call it Deuteronomy because Moses recalls their time in the desert and chastises the nation for what they've done (and warns the nation for what they will do). But there's plenty new there as well.

No doubt. But I believe there is always a remnant whose embers start another fire. Not the first time secularism was turned around. Smith Wigglesworth of England, years gone by, was one of such embers

You might try visiting this one. Saturday at 6 or Sunday at 10 and 12. :)

That reads like it could be a Pentecostal Church to me! :)
I would certainly visit it but Sat Evenings and Sun mornings are special 'togetherness' times for self and wife. My wife is neither a believer or church goer of any kind.

The telephone number shown is a Central London number, so probably the Central Office for that particular group of Churches.

Hey, Oldbadger, did you say you play chess? Did I understand you correctly? I love to play, but there are very few around my area who do.
Try its your turn.com I have been playing people from all over the world there. It´s free to a certain number of moves per day, more, and you have to pay.

No, she's a Christian alright. You are not the one who decides who is and isn't a Christian.
Just know you were the one who trollbaited politics, so let's give you sound beating, shall we?
I wasn't referring Clinton when I typed "deplorable". I was using the word as its been used for quite awhile now. But bring it on.;)
The UN has a map of 10 regions of the world. Revelation 17:12 and Daniel 7:24 both reference end times and how to recognize evil government. 10 kingdoms.
Heh, the globalists are led by satan! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Try not to be so stereotypical in the future. It keeps the fora lively. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
End times prophecy also references a whore of Babylon, someone who is an epitome of the secular world. Many of the liberal hags in power qualify, but stand outs are Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi.
Cool, I can add "Atheists are actually satan" to the list. Anything else?
Lastly, we see mention of a Mark of the Beast. If you haven't figured out, a cattle brand, a way of tracking ppl. RFID microchips or whatever comes after them.
Ah, so now RFID chips are part of satan's plan to... what? Not be a controlling douche, like his buddy upstairs?
All of this is globalist. So, you've chosen to be followers of AntiChrist, and it shows.
Do you have your own opinions, or are you trying to be a caricature of the average uptight Christian that takes any social change as a sign that the big bad wolf is coming to get you?
Still, you're partially right on this point. Who I actually support would almost immediately be declared as the antichrist by your kind. Good thing he's dead, then.:(
So ,what about that beating I was promised? It's pretty difficult to do when you have nothing other than, ahem, " " " "scripture" " " " to prove your point.

Yep........ I wear ski-mittens for 6 months each year. :)
If I'm doing dirty work in the garden etc I take a bucket of warm water with me to keep my hands warm whilst I do stuff.

I used to visit a cafe-society all the time, but that was 40 years ago..... my work took me too far too often to be able to do that, and now that I'm retired I might like to return to something similar....... but it won't be with any extremists who jump across the table at me! :D

Phhht...you know what you need to do, big fella. Move to the great Land Down Under.
You'll love being an Aussie, I just know you will!!!

What's the reason?
For one thing they can't tell you anything useful that God couldn't tell you better. (Isaiah 8:19) Secondly you're probably really talking to demons. So what makes people think they can even trust the "dead" to tell the truth? (1 John 4:1)

After all the word for the dead in Hebrew is "Rephaim" which is the same word used for giants. That's the nephilim.

The nephilim you say, they're real.
