Has the devil harmed you?

The devil has never actually harmed me other than he once sued me in civil court for impersonation.

Hmmm! Let me see...well of course the devil apparently invented the theory of evolution - and global warming...is that not enough?

Curious, irrelavent whether the devil exists or not. But my question is, how does the mere belief in a devil harm?

It is mythology and in history up until today people blame things and other people as evil based on the belief in the devil and/or satan. Including demonic possession where people die, are harmed, and stigmatized by the accusation..

I am not commenting on you personally, because I do not know you. I am referring to the facts of history, and my experience growing up in South America and being familiar with exorcism, and the superstitions’ associated with the belief in the devil/satan, and the history including my experience is not good.

If you could, id be interested to hear one of your direct experiences?

I grew up mostly in Costa Rica and Panama, and I am first hand familiar with attempts at exorcism, and superstitions of blaming misfortunes on the devil/satan or demonic causes. When a gift was given to the new born is was often a gold fash hand (gold hand in superstitious position), and not a gold cross.

The belief in the practice of exorcism is common in those Christian sects that believe in a demon/satan, and demonic sources.

What are some ways you've been tempted and attacked by the Devil or evil spirits?

I think you know about out black cat known by some as the devil. She has huge teeth and even bigger claws. She is really gentle but can occasionally become over excited. You guessed it, teeth and claw marks on my arm.

But i guess you at not talking physical reality but blaming a supernatural cause for misfortune. No, never. If i screw up i place the blame where it lives.
