Cacotopia

Let's go full Trottle
A dystopia (from the Greek δυσ- "bad" and τόπος "place"; alternatively, cacotopia, kakotopia, or simply anti-utopia) is a community or society that is undesirable or frightening. ... Dystopian societies appear in many artistic works, particularly in stories set in the future.

Yeah so I'm SURE this thread has been done before but I was just curious. I always wonder why people have the user name they do.

Mine is CDRaider because my name is Christina D and my schools mascot are the Raiders (we used to have this ugly red headed viking as our mascot but now we are wolves.. sucky mascot huh)

So what about yours?
My user name is mjplatt because the first two letters are my initials, and the rest is my last name. I see no reason to hide.

Mine is the old professor on Futurama. I highly recommend watching Futurama by the way. Matt Groening is a special kind of genius.

I chose JesusMyFriend because Jesus is a really important person in my life. I feel I would be lost without him.. and as my username suggests, he's my friend, a friend whom I can always turn to, a friend who will never leave me, a friend who is always with me in bad and good times. And I want, when I'm older to dedicate my life to him...

Sammaiel translates "Poison of God". It's the jewish angel that opposed the creation of humankind and destroys the souls.
For satanists, it's one of the Hell's Lords.

Christine because that's me
M is the initial of my surname

All highly technical and deeply meaningful

More interesting is my avatar, 22000 year old cro magnon skull, i helped discover it, to me that is meaningful.

My username manifested due to a severe lack of creativity.

Another old codger on RF, eh.
Watch out, all you young whippersnappers!
We're taking over.

I am an old codger whom people think is younger than she is! My eldest daughter has not been thrilled when on 11 occasions (I have kept count) people have thought we were sisters. As you can imagine she was not pleased about that. :D

I hope this photo taken in August 2018 isn't too frightening.:D

You look young!
I've never been mistaken for my daughter's sister.

I was once running an engine at a show.
It was a flame ignition Lenoir cycle engine built in the early 1880s.
Someone asked....
"So....did you buy that new?"

I can't believe I am going to be 70 next year, my husband is 72 in June. It doesn't seem that long ago when we married (1969), he was 22 and I was 19. Our eldest girl was born 10 months later.

I have a passion for motorcycles and my first one was a Honda Shadow Spirit so I chose Shadow after that bike. It is a beautiful red which also goes along with the second part of my name, Rose. Rose is also my middle name.
