The christians are now free to live their lives in St Paul's 1st century view of the world. In fact they can have their own moral police force knocking at the door to make sure all the brides remain virgins until marriage or to haul away any child that says "I hate you" to their parents.
Yes i would even grant that as long as they post it clearly on their business advertisments, they can refuse to serve those that don't follow their faith.

Would you want Christians to mandate a law for you? The Golden Rule is in full effect, don't set rules for others if you're unwilling to also live by some rule.

I don't either. It's almost as if the opening poster fails to recognize that Christianity is a diverse umbrella of many different religions with different teachings and practices. They also demonstrate a failure to recognize hypocrisy is universally human and hardly limited to those that they regard as "Christian."

Aside from the fact the OP is ridiculous to assume that all Christians are right wing Evangelicals or fundamentalists, I do wonder how many right wing Evangelicals or fundamentalists would remain so if they were forced to live by the rules they wish to impose upon society as a whole? Every person who joins a religion is required to act and behave like the most cliche stereotypes of that religion. Christians must literally thump a bible at least four times a day. Muslim women must always wear Burkas. Buddhists must meditate every hour of the day.

Nonreligious persons are not exempt either. Atheists are required to have neckbeards and fedoras (even the women) and agnostics have to act like the agnostic family from that one episode of South Park.

"Christian" doesn't necessarily imply "opposed to abortion."

Plenty of Christian denominations aren't opposed to abortion, and many of those that are now opposed to it only took this position recently.

For instance, the Southern Baptist Convention was largely pro-choice until the late 1970s.

And while the Catholics have generally always been anti-abortion rights, they didn't consider early-term abortion to be "murder" until relatively recently. The Decretum Gratiani - the collection of canon law that was in effect until it was superseded in 1917 - said "he is not a murderer who brings about abortion before the soul is in the body" (...with the assumption that the soul enters at "quickening," not conception).

Interestingly unless you are a pantheist polytheist you are as atheist as i am for every god but your own. There have been around 4200 gods in western recorded history, 3800(ish) of them have been "the only god, the creator' . That of course does not include the 33 million Hindu gods.

Many Baptist churches prohibit drinking.

It's been a rule long enough that there's a family story about my great-grandfather, an ardent Baptist (like most of that branch of my family tree) who died in 1920:

They lived near a military base, so they'd get soldiers on leave in town pretty frequently. One day, as he was walking down the street, a soldier went up to my grandfather and asked "excuse me, sir - do you know where I can get a beer?"

My great-grandfather shouted back at him "in HELL!"
