Without God

I'm an atheist within the divine.

i know the divine as myself and there can be no differentiation between the two. Just as there can be no differentiation between the universe and myself.

I am in it and it is in me. I cannot believe in another. I cannot be divided against myself. I know myself and question my beliefs and actions to have self-control and become self-realized.

They hated me without a cause; so I became like narcissus and I fell in love with myself, and then another.

Is this the Way of the Mind to know?

Is this possible?

You sound more like a panentheist than an atheist, but whatevs...labels don't define us anyway.

a- without
theist - god

theists who "believe" vs know, are without, or separated/divided against themselves. they believe but they do not know. neither do most atheist, or even consider.

i understand it as a spectrum based on belief and not knowing.

as the character explained to the believers of his own time:

You worship what you don't know: We know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews(praised).

Emm...I was just stating that your talk of the Divine and of being inseperable sounds more like a particular definition of God (panentheist) than no God.

Atheism can't be conflated with a lack of monotheism.

it can because of belief, or the inconsideration there of. to know requires action. it's a verb of first person experience.

to know dispels belief, or thought. it becomes realized and is verifiable. i can believe anything. i can believe i could be an astronaut, i can believe i could be a rich/poor. i know is the realization.

the person says I AM an astronaut; when they become what they know. they don't say i believe i could become; when knowing.

know thyself. know for thyself.

Woe unto you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in you hindered.

6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

The definition that supposes not knowing, is wrong, obviously.

Know=personal truth
Belief=from what we believe we know [usually], or not. Either.

Right. I can say pigs can fly. So sure, atheism CAN be conflated with a lack of monotheism. But only in ignorance.

I do think that life without God is possible but I sure do believe that life with God is much, much better. Sometimes, there is just no one to talk to but with God, there is always Someone.

And, there has to be just one. I think I know the reason.
