By definition, truth is not "absolute," it is a relational statement. The map is not the territory.

Truth never changes. By definition truth is considered that of actuality and cant be negotiated. You could see it almost as being dished out by nature or God and is nonnegotiable.

See the part highlighted in red in the definition of true. If that isn't negotiation, I don't know what is.

Was hoping to have a serious agrument but seems people would rather play games, post nonsense. True and Truth are completely different words.
Your definition of Truth has nothing to do with Truth but of the word "true" which has to do with the correction of misaligned wheels on a grocery cart. sigh...:(

That which is perceiveth and thrown into words and uttered is filtered by that very organ to which Jesus fought with and is hereby proclaim Satan or the Human Mind.

But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Truth: life and death. We are born. We live. We die. That's it. That's a fact. The key is living and find comfort in the fact of dying. Comfortable with not existing anymore.

Having seen what has come to be As having come to be, Passing beyond what has come to be, They are released in accordance with truth By exhausting the craving for being. When a bhikkhu has fully understood That which has come to be as such, Free from craving to be this or that, By the extinction of what has come to be He comes no more to renewal of being. Itivuttaka: The Group of Twos and Udaya Sutta: Breaking the Cycle
I would not call it the secrets of the universe. It isnt mystical or spirit-ual just a fact of life, type of thing. It doesnt resonate as in a feeling of "spirit" in the hearts one would experience with some form of gods. Its not atheistic since deities do exist (per whats known in some lineages) and rebirth as well. Its more do we want to practice it.

A lot of people feel they will live for eternity in spirit; so, the idea of not existing isnt comfortable as a fact and truth. It can be philosophized and pondered; but, thats with anything.

As for god and satan, Im not familiar with that especially in relation to reality as I know it.

What if the spirit never existed? The spirit is immaterial and cannot die, it exists therefore forever into infinity and beyond.

Truth can't change, else it's not truth

Truth can't be found on earth [always changing]
Truth can't be perceived by our 5 outward senses
Truth can't be found by intellect, nor in our own mind

Truth ...
