Gods are Mans manifestation of the human condition

Frog

Cult of Kek.
Every ancient culture has had a God to represent some form of human existence. We see this in ancient Egypt and all over especially in the Hellenist civilizations. The Egyptians had hundreds of Gods to represent every calamity, desire, emotion, lifestyle, food, feeling, animal, everything.
Humans are prone to repeat history because most of us are not historians nor can we evolve past our basic human instincts. The only way past this is knowledge. When you can recognize a manifestation in yourself or out in the world you can technically track it and watch it wax and wane, take root, or wither away. Even find its source.

The study of history is the study of human action and reaction and the reasoning behind it. You almost not need to know why but just that it occurred, as humans are predictable and will fall for the same old trick again and again. This is were knowledge of the past comes in handy when you have a world to govern. One variable of occult study is of human behavior, once understood people are able to level the playing field for themselves and even ascend it completely.

The occult just means obscure or hard to understand. Many philosophies are; “The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding"—The Kybalion.”

When i say Gods, I speak for the many Gods and of course a single deity, if it encompasses all the others.

I think some knowledge of psychology perhaps provides a better explanation for why our history exists.

What's left when you take out psychology, culture, history, and archeology even out of gods religions?

If god existed apart from it, how would one define it? (I wonder if anyone can answer this)

i disagree. History is propaganda. Myth, legend. It's written by the victors, agreed upon lies.

You almost not need to know why but just that it occurred, as humans are predictable and will fall for the same old trick again and again.

You are better off asking why, as in why they say something historically transpired, because history is deceptive. From history you can acknowledge that something happened, unlike what was reported, so why did they report it in the manner they did. In other words, ask what were they lying about. The answer is always the same because the control of people has always been the same. Follow the money trail. There you have your answers.

Historically speaking? [Laughs]

Setting aside that your characterization of indigenous Paganisms is a little off, I don't understand what it is you're saying, @Frog. Are you suggesting that deification of various aspects of reality is a historical mistake or a trick of some kind? And that your solution to this is for us to embrace "the occult?"

Such as the Hitler Nazi smear campaign

There is "That Which is all encompassing."

Sorry i was on a ramble. What i meant to delineate was that many ancient gods took the aspect of human personifications. Groups that operated in certain way were more likely to appease one god and join its cult. These cults were popular in Hellenist days where its members would try to use a God personify to offer divine providence channeled through the human god aspect persona. Take
Dionysus for example, the god of sexual desire, orgies had cult followings, almost all did. You can visit a temple today and have sexual intercourse with other followers i belief its church that worships the penis as a god.

Science is the discovery of applications of truth.
History is the misapplications of the discoveries
Reality is the realization of the truth of science.
Religion is the total absence of any science at all.

I see. You said lies, but meant "interpretation".

And that means I changed something.

When does the same thing happen to "history is lies"?

Let's just simplify things a bit for the intrepid atheist, shall we?

Science isn't lies, it's interpretation. Though I haven't spelled it out on any previous occasion that has always been my serious estimation.

Atheists who desperately cling to the metaphysical experimentation that is known as evolution, aren't science, they are religion. That is specifically, the devious adherence to a faulty interpretation. The atheist, in this case, is the liar, the misinterpretation isn't a lie.

My estimation of history is likewise unchanged and will undoubtedly remain so.

For clarity, you now deny ever saying science is lies?

Hmmm. Good question. I couldn't do that with a clear conscience . . . now wait a minute, wait a minute. I, uh, I've done a fair amount of drugs and it used to be a hobby of mine to get as drunk on whiskey as I possibly could and go online and taunt atheists. I may have said science is a lie, just for fun and in an altered state of reality.

Since posting here, though . . . I may have said it as well. BUT! now hear me out, not seriously. So for your clarity, and my noble sense of integrity the answer is no so long as the addendum is made that it will have been a serious contention.

How do you like those apples?

Lacks sincerity and literary merit.
