Spiritual Aura?

Ellen Brown

Well-Known Member
A few times, not recently, people have approached me about my Aura. At the time, it was rather off putting and not knowing what to think, changed the subject. I know of NO reference to an Aura in Islam, and in Christianity, it is mentioned in reference to Moses, Jesus, and I think that is all.

I doubt that I have ever seen an Aura, meaning: A distinctive glow or atmosphere surrounding a person, place or thing. When at Lassen Park, and later at Yellowstone, I got a strong sense of danger, but for me that is as far as it has gone.

If there are such things for the common Huuman, what color are they? Has anyone else seen such?

I've personally not seen an aura but there are a lot of reports of people seeing them and their colors.

Come to think of it... I get Ocular Migraine headaches. They are not painful, but have been mildly disabling, causing me to see an Aura in the shape of a fiery reverse captiol "C" in my left eye. I can read, but not make sense of what I read. My speech is mildly slurred, and it is back to normal in around an hour. They are slow to come on, so if I am driving, I have about five minutes to get to a safe place to stop. I've been to see a Neurologist about it and he said not to worry. He gave me some Sumatran.

My wife has seen these auras around people since she was a little girl. She takes it for granted, and it took me years (really) to make her realize that all of us cannot see this. Most of time the auras are whitish to goldish in color, but one time she saw a maroon glow around a young boy. This was very upsetting to her because she could sense there was something wrong with the child.

Perhaps bad to say color and more accurate to say hue. :D

In any case, they're pretty easy to miss but the easiest way is to stare past your hand or your arm at something black and move it around a little. You'll see something that moves with your arm several inches away from it. (Or centimeters if you're doing that whole metric thing!)

It is faint though, low light helps, and patience. Don't stare intensely or anything either just relax and look normally past your limb or you'll just be looking at the normal visual distortions that happen when you stare at something too hard.

Anyway, answer the question of the existence yourself. :D

I think mine is blue, for no particular reason but that is the first thing that came to my mind when I read "spiritual aura" and I have no idea what a spiritual aura is.

I would say I have seen something at times, nothing special just a glow. Mostly in pregnant women are close to term. Also, in people who are close to death or I should say a dimming of the aura.

I am not sure it is anything any more than oils coming to the surface on pregnant woman causing them to kind of shine, and when getting close to death the skin may be losing support and absorbing light more making it look like the aura is fading.

But a few times I have seen a person with a mixed up aura it would be hard to explain, but the best I could say would be like heat waves but not really that either. I don't know what to think, just that it unnerves the heck out of me. And one last thing I was looking through some tinted glass and saw a glow around everything that was alive; people, animals, plants, and trees. I saw that twice again, don't know what to think.

When on the spiritual path it's natural that your astral "senses" develop when you become more pure [or it can be granted to you when you need them]. Some get visions, some see auras, some hear voices. I don't see auras, but I get visions and hear voices. Visions and Audio are very clear and distinctive, so I guess when you see auras they will be quite clear also.

It is important to know that these astral senses can be off a bit; depends how pure/alert/aware you are. So I always use my common sense to determine whether to reject it or not.

I heard that with Kirlian Photography they can even be shown. But also this I never tried myself. Probably if I start seeing auras then I will start reading about it.

I get those too. (squigglies on the edges of vision) But aura has two meanings. The aura associated with this is different than the spiritual aura.

@BSM1 , do you think your wife could pass this test?

This is ridiculous and contrived. First of all, you can't see auras through objects just like you can't see faces through a screen, you need to looking at someone to be able to tell any attribute. Secondly, she's not a sideshow freak and I would never let anyone try to make her feel as such. Her 'gift', be it blessing or curse, is something she has come to terms with; she is not a palm reader or fortune teller, nor does she try to impose herself on anyone. This is as natural to her as breathing is to us and you are free to believe or not, but I would be very careful on calling her out on this. Although I've been very fortunate over the last forty five years, I would not be surprised if she can change you into a toad.
