Love and Light: An ethical solution for world homogenity?

This will be my first post, so please be kind. I am Thomas from Norway. Nice to meet you.

I say: If you end suffering, you end most of the sins. Create peace, and a nation will evolve. Into unity? This was always my dream. Can all religions find unity through common humanist ethics of Love and Light; the UNDISPUTABLE scientific religion??? I propose that religion undergoes validification through the scientific method. The conclusion I end up with is that love/sex, and light is sacred to any being in the entire UNIVERSE! Even an atheist. Disagree? Think about it, let me hear your thoughts, and then I`ll explain my view. Love and light. T

Hello, Thomas. And welcome to RF. (I have plans to visit Norway next year, and I'm really exited!)

I agree that love is the answer and that we should all strive for unity, tolerance and understanding. If we truly did that, this world would be a much better place. We as human beings have a great deal in common with one another, and the various religions of the world also have much in common with each other. We should be focusing on how to build bridges of understanding between us, and stop tearing each other down at every opportunity.

That said, I disagree with you that religions should be expected to be validated through the scientific method. I have nothing against science, but we shouldn't even expect more of science than it is capable of producing. Religious beliefs simply cannot be proven or disproven scientifically, and I see no point in trying to do so.

Why is there no point in proving what you believe? I disagree. Please watch the Source-Field Investigations by New-Age author David Wilcock. Science, and religion was intertwined since the beginning, through the Hermetic teachings, up through both Judaism and Catholicism. Education, the elite, and religion will always be intertwined. Why believe in something that cannot be proven? You have many religious sciences like f.i Kabbalah, and mostly all major religions have their ¨religious sciences¨ f.i. Religion must converge with magick. Magick is termed a science, but why not religion? I think love, and light is the way to go. I wrote extensively on it here, www.newisraelglobalrevolution.com at one of my websites ((this is not advertizement - this is in regards to the discussion)) Nothing would exist without love and light. The Creator (God) therefore has to be: Love and Light. (Metaphorically speaking) Some of Allah`s titles about him being loving, and the light. Same with Jesus who says himself he is both the sun, and the morning-star. Jesus was from Nazareth/Mazaroth: The zodiac. He was Orion of the pyramid triangle prophecy. If one does his research, one realize that the only thing missing before we have an entire world-religious-system is SCHOLARS. People willing to be the change. Loving light. Thomas

I agree that peace will come without suffering. What puzzles me is we don't need unity in order to come to peace; so, I'm not sure why that method is a preferred method: finding what people have in common despite our different Foundational beliefs.

If anything, working together for a similar goal would be the humanist way to go. It won't belittlement individual beliefs, that is, if our belief system values finding peace without needing to believe in the tenants of that said faith.

It's a vision but the method unity either I would redefine or just work together without needing to be one. Nice thought but highly illogical for a diverse planet even among family members and neighbors.

Then how about the Torsion/Scalar/Source-field? Doen`t that prove God? What about the Flat Earth? And how about miracles?
These things may all provide strong evidence of a God to those who already believe in Him, but if you think a "miracle" proves there is a God to an atheist, you've got another think coming.

I disagree. This is the age of science. The envisioned age of the antique enlightenists! A golden age IS within the grasp of the evolutionary Christian, but not the muslim, who cannot prove his God through miracles. We must all stand the scientific method! And no, there can never be true peace without ethical homogenity. We can however agree to disagree, but that is short lived. True unity comes through humanistic values of what I call ¨love and light.¨ True unity comes through LIGHT/TRUTH/KNOWLEDGE. Apply my law to any topic.
