:) He's never late... sometime we wish it would be a little sooner. :)
Of course he's late. The messiah is supposed to finish the job the first time around. Anyone could die and then I could say 'Oh, he'll come back and do all that stuff next time!' It's been 2,000 years, how much longer are people going to wait?

"Know ye not that you are the Temple of God?", 1 Cor. 3:16.

I leave others to their choices. Personally, I do not believe in human built Temples. In Kenya I saw a pole building with a tin roof. It was adequate.
It's not the building but the people that make a church.

When I was much younger and challenged the idea of building mega churches, and temples and all that, it was mansplained to me that I was not mature enough to understand. You do not want to know what a Mormon Temple costs, and there are around 145 of them. Muslims build some spectacular Mosques.

When I see Biblical explanations for what is pleasing to God, I get chills.

You know the Jews were in the dispersion almost 2000 years? So, obviously whether you're a Jew or Christian; you know that God's time is not our time and we don't know exactly how long it will take.

Except Jesus said 'this generation'.

No wonder we can win this fight called life. Excuse me, I'm very euphoric because the love of God. If any Christians find it hard to pray then it may be a demon putting a mental block in your mind to keep you from blessing that day. Rebuke it in Jesus name and ask God to feel you with His love for others. Demons may also try to make difficult rules to follow when you pray; to discourage you. Just start praying. No difficult rules for yourself. No discouragement. No feelings of inadequacy because Jesus is all our sufficiency.

Sorry, I don't roll with Jehovah or his minions. :D

Also, I feel I am responsible for my own actions as is anyone else. Demons aren't pushing my buttons.. I don't feel the need to blame anyone else when I screw up. I'm perfectly able to do that myself.

Praying is more like sitting around talking to yourself and doing nothing to fix your situation. Get off your knees and put one leg behind the other.

Joe Pesci is all that matters.
He's all our sufficiency,
All our grace
All our power
All our strength
All our Righteousness
All our peace
All our Love
All our light

I have exactly as much evidence to back up my claim as you have evidence to back up yours.

Good post, but honestly not comparable with Jesus. Joe Pesci has far more evidence.

First of all I find the setting or time frame for Revelation to take place is for our day as per Revelation 1:10.
Revelation was written for people who lived ' after ' the first century.

As to how much long to wait: We are at the ' final phase ' of Matthew 24:14 in the international proclaiming about God's kingdom of Daniel 2:44, so that means we are nearing the ' final signal ' of 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 when ' they ' (powers that be) will be saying, " Peace and Security " as the precursor to the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14 before Jesus, as Prince of Peace, ushers in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill.

Of course you are responsible for your own actions as was Jesus and the rest of us.
Seems to me Jehovah's Witnesses do 'put one leg behind the other' because walking is how they arrive at one's door.

I've heard this a thousand times.

......But I find you have Not heard the saying of " Peace and Security " as of yet.
When the 'powers that be' are saying, " Peace and Security " as per 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 that is the precursor to the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14.
Since the international proclaiming about God's kingdom of Daniel 2:44 is being done on a global scale as never before in history just as Jesus said at Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8 then the soon coming ' time of separation ' on Earth of Matthew 25:31-33,37,40 is also near at hand.

Except Jesus said 'this generation'.

I find Matthew chapter 24 has both a ' minor' and a 'MAJOR' fulfillment.
The ' minor' one was fullfilled in the year 70 when the Roman armies destroyed un-faithful Jerusalem.
The 'MAJOR' fulfillment is set for our day or time frame 'the generation of Revelation 7:14'.

I don't see how the biblical explanation pleasing to God about the ' Golden Rule ' would give anyone chills.
Or, how would Jesus' New commandment of John 13:34-35 to have the same self-sacrificing love for others as Jesus has would give anyone chills. To me it's thrills !
If everyone on Earth lived just by the 'Golden Rule' then what kind of earthly society would exist on Earth.

God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. God provides every need.
....but I find it is mankind's ' un-even food distribution ' that does Not provide every need.
Some food is even sold on the black market instead of reaching the intended people.
