From what I read, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was 53 and Aisha 6 when they got married. In prison, murder is considered an honorable crime in comparison.
(You don't want to know what they do to pedophiles, even if it was consensual. It is so bad, I'd consider the rare ones who get killed to be the lucky ones. I got beat up, spit on, tied up, stabbed, and put in the hospital in prison, but that is like a pillow fight compared to the hell that the pedophiles went through.)
But, it is entirely possible that Muhammad (peace be upon him) and others with that inclination are in Heaven. I give him the benefit of the doubt, and give God's mercy and unconditional love, the benefit of the doubt! I don't have that vice (Thank you Jesus!), but have enough disorders and errors in judgment to know that people with an affliction, addiction, obsession, or inclination to do something like that, can't just make it go away. They simply can choose to resist the temptation to act it out. So, God rest and heal their souls.
But, there has to be purgatory of some sort. I've known (at monasteries or hermitages), sex-addicts, perverts, or people with deviant attractions that most Christians consider forbidden, who live celibate prayerful lives, gave themselves and everything to Jesus, been born again (or whatever), totally changed their lifestyle etc. But you talk to them on a deeper level, and find out that they still have desires that would make most people's hair stand on end! They just stopped acting on it!
People in heaven simply aren't going to be burning with those passions, inclinations, and desires. It just would not be heaven, for them (or their potential victims.)
So, there has to be a transformation and purification some way, some place, or some how!
I'm not big on Scripture anymore, but off the top of my head, I can't think of a sin Christ condemned more than hurting a child (and a prepubescent child cannot consent...I don't care where you're from):
Luke 17
It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little to stumble.
And, if heaven is anything like Jesus described, it is going to be full of innocent childlike people, apparently:
Matthew 18
18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
So, obviously, there is no pedophilia in heaven, and well, a lot of things people are afflicted with, they will not have that affliction or inner struggle in Heaven. It just wouldn't be heaven. So, there is a degree of purity, childlikeness, perfection, and innocence required for heaven.
Many Christians die without that degree of purity and perfection. But they accepted Jesus as Lord and savior, repented of their sins, and met all the requirements for salvation (as is presented by Scripture and most Christian Theology).
But, I'm not convinced that a pedophile or a sexually disordered individual, just repents, accepts Jesus, and has a personal relationship with God, suddenly no longer has that weakness or attraction. If they die, they simply aren't ready to enter heaven. Hence, the need for Purgatory!
