Is modern science informing us of a spiritual reality?

Or does modern science create the possibility that there is a spiritual reality?

Or is it hands off on the matter with no way to rule in or out the spiritual reality?

What is "spiritual reality"?

A spiritual reality is a reality that is perhaps non physical, or perhaps not, where the life essence resides. It can be a natural or supernatural force.

Observation of experiment. and the development of falsifiable hypotheses, and the relentless questioning of established views—have proven uniquely powerful in revealing the surprising, underlying structure of the world we live in, including subatomic particles, the role of germs in the spread of disease, and the neural basis of mental life.

Spirituality has no equivalent record of discovering hidden truths.

Science and religion are as different as can be.

Even being that spirit reality was true, it would be the most impossible thing to detect.

Even finding all the neural correlates of consciousness, consciousness is still left unexplained.

I realize that. That comes from the stance that everything that exists is material.

Show me an idiot so dimwitted as to think that.

ANYWAY I said that because your explanation is
just vague empty words. Nothing there.

Mainstream science should still be agnostic on the question of a spiritual reality.

However I do see a more moving away from the mechanical understanding (allowing for spiritual realities) since the general acceptance of quantum mechanics, multiple dimensions, acceptance that consciousness is not yet understood, etc..

The sciences cannot and do not study what you call "spiritual reality." It's one of its limitations as a set of disciplines. Methodological naturalism is inherent to the sciences, and studying "spiritual reality" necessarily violates that method.

Do you mean has modern science unearthed any evidence for realities beyond that of our own spacetime, which we could measure and observe or infer? If so, then not exactly. Hypothesis of extra dimensional frames of reference, many worlds and multiverses etc..do exist.

I don't think that's quite what they're doing.

There's still the requirement of the interaction with matter regardless.
