Are You Listening to What is within You?

Jesus said the Kingdom comes from within; so then are we listening to our conscience when making the right choices?

I am -- but I'm a non-believer. Christians, in my experience, are more deontological. They don't need a conscience. They have an external set of rules and need only conform their behavior to these to be OK with God.

I can hear my pulse pounding in my ears...

Seriously, is “conscience” and “Holy Spirit” the same thing?

jesus wasn't a christian either. he wasn't considered much of a jew from some orthodox standards; if he was real.

Not quite, in my considered opinion. The Christian has a set of internal rules. That set of rules is predicated on how we love.

Nope.

Conciousness comes from the brain. Holy spirit comes from god. If they were the same, atheists would be listening to god just the same as christians (and Know it). Maybe the spirit works Through your consciousness, but is not, itself, consciousness.

Romans 11:36
36 All things come from God, through God, and return to God. Praise him for ever! Yes, it is so!

Is it? My religion says that the Holy Spirit “proceeds from the Father...” that means it’s source is without, not within.
hmmmm, then your father isn't omnipresent, or inherent.

you fell from some other tree?
