Did the main characters portrayed in the Bible go that route as well?Jesus said the Kingdom comes from within; so then are we listening to our conscience when making the right choices?
blasphemy against the holy spirit is unforgivable because its against self.I can hear my pulse pounding in my ears...
Seriously, is “conscience” and “Holy Spirit” the same thing?
jesus wasn't a christian either. he wasn't considered much of a jew from some orthodox standards; if he was real.I am -- but I'm a non-believer. Christians, in my experience, are more deontological. They don't need a conscience. They have an external set of rules and need only conform their behavior to these to be OK with God.
i believe the prophets practiced some sort of introspection.Did the main characters portrayed in the Bible go that route as well?
That didnt answer my question.blasphemy against the holy spirit is unforgivable because its against self.
elijah heard the still small voice and jesus said to go to an inner room. i don't doubt for a minute that the a person's inner spirit would call for what is right and just; if they trully listened.
Not quite, in my considered opinion. The Christian has a set of internal rules. That set of rules is predicated on how we love.I am -- but I'm a non-believer. Christians, in my experience, are more deontological. They don't need a conscience. They have an external set of rules and need only conform their behavior to these to be OK with God.

there are two polarities along the spectrum:That didnt answer my question.
Nope.
Conciousness comes from the brain. Holy spirit comes from god. If they were the same, atheists would be listening to god just the same as christians (and Know it). Maybe the spirit works Through your consciousness, but is not, itself, consciousness.
Holy spirit is just a pet name. Like Jiminy Cricket.I can hear my pulse pounding in my ears...

Romans 11:36
36 All things come from God, through God, and return to God. Praise him for ever! Yes, it is so!
the feedback is distractingJesus said the Kingdom comes from within; so then are we listening to our conscience when making the right choices?
Still didn’t answer my question.there are two polarities along the spectrum:
1. service to self
2. service to other as self
Is it? My religion says that the Holy Spirit “proceeds from the Father...” that means it’s source is without, not within.Holy spirit is just a pet name. Like Jiminy Cricket.
all actions proceed from love, either love of all, or love for self vs other as self. Can't figure the connection. Please add commentary.
hmmmm, then your father isn't omnipresent, or inherent. Is it? My religion says that the Holy Spirit “proceeds from the Father...” that means it’s source is without, not within.
