Can "My BeliefSystem = the only way" ever be "The Truth"?

Truth = That what does not change and is the same for all [IMO]

To illustrate this:
"1 + 1 = 2", can it be "The Truth"? Maybe in octal/(hexa)decimal counting, but not in binary.
"My BeliefSystem = the only way", can it be "The Truth"? Should "The Truth" not be for all the same?

1: So, does it make sense to state: "My BeliefSystem = the only way" as "The Truth"?
2: Does "The Truth" exist + Is it possible at all to find "The Truth" + did you find it already?

The POLL: because I am curious what others think or found out about "The Truth"

'The truth' varies widely by religion. All you have to do is ask adherents of various religions to explain it more. Furthermore, some religions don't even have a concept of 'the truth'.

I voted "The Truth can NOT be found".

To me capital "T", The Truth, is ultimate reality.

I think it exists, but is not something that can be found in its totality by us, with our limited perceptions.

I think we can have a personal "truth" which is the meaning one distills from the information one gathers, including personal perceptions and experiences.

Thank you, this is correct. God said if they ask my name tell them "I AM" is the way/truth/life. So it's God, not religion or messenger.
exodus 3:14: God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.'"

Thank you. The truth shall set you free. Not a specific religion needed.

The words offered by Jesus were encouragement to explore the nature of reality and adhere to the outcome of your investigation.

If the outcome is to follow a particular religion then follow that religion. If it is to move away from a particular religion that has outlived its usefulness then thats part of the process too.

The principle is essentially the same in Dharmic Faiths as it is for the Abrahamic ones. The only difference is the Dharmic faiths emerged from Asia whereas the Abrahamic ones came from the Middle East. The language used reflected different cultures. Each Faith met the needs of a particular people for a set period of time.

However, it does exclude religions.

I did not want to take it that far. But I think you are right. For the final "Realization" ALL Religions have to be excluded [buddhism says "kill the Buddha"]
I think the atheists on RF will love this idea.

Thank you. That's a nice way to say it. Respectful to all religions and also people who don't follow religions. I also believe that the truth is for all.

As Baha’is, we are not to distinguish between any of the Messengers of God, who we call Manifestations of God, because we believe God is One and all his religions were all revealed by the One True God. Each Messenger had a specific purpose and mission that was “pertinent” to the day in which He appeared. We are not to make distinctions between any of the Messengers or elevate one over another.

"Beware, O believers in the Unity of God, lest ye be tempted to make any distinction between any of the Manifestations of His Cause, or to discriminate against the signs that have accompanied and proclaimed their Revelation. This indeed is the true meaning of Divine Unity, if ye be of them that apprehend and believe this truth. Be ye assured, moreover, that the works and acts of each and every one of these Manifestations of God, nay whatever pertaineth unto them, and whatsoever they may manifest in the future, are all ordained by God, and are a reflection of His Will and Purpose. Whoso maketh the slightest possible difference between their persons, their words, their messages, their acts and manners, hath indeed disbelieved in God, hath repudiated His signs, and betrayed the Cause of His Messengers.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 59-60

The spiritual verities of all the divinely revealed religions are the same and they are eternal. However, only one message from God is “pertinent” for every age in history because the times change and the needs of humanity change over time. God, the Divine and All-Knowing Physician knows what we need in any given age of history, and He sends a “new” Messenger when we need a “new” message. That message is always different from the previous message, and there will always be another message in the future that is pertinent to future times, because mankind and his world are constantly evolving. So there is no One and Final Truth since Truth is always relative to the times in which it is revealed. Also, we will never know the Ultimate Truth because only God has that Truth.

“No man, however acute his perception, can ever hope to reach the heights which the wisdom and understanding of the Divine Physician have attained. Little wonder, then, if the treatment prescribed by the physician in this day should not be found to be identical with that which he prescribed before. How could it be otherwise when the ills affecting the sufferer necessitate at every stage of his sickness a special remedy?”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 80

“The All-Knowing Physician hath His finger on the pulse of mankind. He perceiveth the disease, and prescribeth, in His unerring wisdom, the remedy. Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and center your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 213

Thank you for the beautiful quotes. This was the essence what I also got when reading "From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh".
