A three year old would not make it to court as there is no possibility that they understand what is going on from a legal standpoint.

A court might well place them under the care of child development experts, however, the child would stay with their parents as they cannot be held responsible for their actions. As a judge I would probably launch fireballs that the local media for deliberately distorting the facts in order to sell newspapers.

In these case's I would go after the owner of the murder weapon. A three year old should not be left unattended with anything that can kill another. They are prone to temper tantrums.

If I were judge i would set in the coup de grace because of the offenders age. Coup the grace means that you remove the blood guilt of the offender and inquire life for life by shed the blood of the offender.

As a theologican with faith in afterlife my prayers would be the victim's relatives and the offender. I would have done a follow up from the senatarium were I would have placed the offender and inquire the life of the executioner because of what media did.
