Who are the truth seekers in the Theological Concepts section?

I've been warned by Polymath257 that I should check out RH Rules.

Apparently my 1st 2 paragraphs violated their rule that says:
"You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend..."
...even though I didn't mention anyone in particular.
Therefore I've eliminated those lines.

If the remainder violates the rules, not only do I not belong here, but hardly anyone belongs here.

Just as goodness cannot be recognized by evil.

For instance, a person who lives for evil cannot comprehend what good is, since they cannot see truth. Their minds only see their own truths (which are actually falsities) and believe them to be true.

Jeeez. I just checked out your website using Firefox and it comes out looking like a horrid mess. What on earth did you use to create it? OIC, it's formatted for Internet Explorer. Ick.

Personally, I'm not big on "the Truth" as the truth is that "Truth" is a variable that is different from person to person, as we never see things quite the same way.

It's interesting when people are continually seeking and searching for truth without realizing that truth is all around and permeates the entirety of a person's being and experiences.

Seeking The Truth is a waste of time.

If you're seeking it, it means you don't have it.

Those claiming to have it can never seem to agree on exactly what it is.

What is objective truth? Two people rarely agree on anything but the most obvious information. That would lend to the notion that any 'truth' is highly subjective even when it is about 'reality'. Does your reality include your own feelings and experiences, or simply things that are logical? Any measure of the truth has to contain these subjective experiences or it isn't the whole truth.

I can't help but read this post and think 'scientism'. Scientism is: "The belief that the methods of natural science, or the categories and things recognized in natural science, form the only proper elements in any philosophical or other inquiry" or "science, and only science, describes the world as it is in itself, independent of perspective"[ with a concomitant "elimination of the psychological [and spiritual] dimensions of experience" : Scientism - RationalWiki

In essence, you're throwing out religions and making a new one. Good luck and have fun. You are using the criteria to invalidate other notions of the truth in the same way that they typically do via the exclusion of all others with no way to prove yours more valid other than to pick some arbitrary conditions (objective reality) to limit the scope. In doing as such you have no basis other than it sounds good to you and that's exactly the criteria anyone else uses that seems to trouble you. The irony is _REAL_...

Logic and truth are not the same thing. Logic has no obligation to truth since logic can be based entirely on a false premise.
