The actual interview starts around the 3 minute mark and the recording of his voice being restored "live" at the 11:40 mark.

Not only restored, but doctors found no evidence or scars that something had ever happened. Doctors didn't understand why.

Hm. Let me ask. Whats different between that miracle of another of a perfectly healthy person who doesnt believe in miracles waking up in the morning to critize another gloomy day?

Edit.

And as long as there are algebra tests, there will always be prayer in schools.

God has always been there to fill in the gaps of understanding, from being the reason that lightning strikes to hitting all the green lights on the way to an important meeting to the spontaneous remission of various medical conditions.

It may turn out that God really doesn't perform miracles at all; we're just too stupid to understand some stuff yet.

Or maybe we are just too stupid to think He doesn't do miracles? It certainly was touching.

I couldnt open the plugin. But, was asking is the miracle in your OP the same as the miracle of waking up in the morning?

Someone who is healthy and has no gratitude wakes up each morning; is that the same as the OP?

After being a miracle myself, I honestly cant see the difference. The word miracle seems void.

I couldn't open the plug-in either.

certainly getting up in the morning can be considered miraculous in and of itself. I guess the difference is that one is natural in its working and the other violates natural course.

A "natural miracle" is an oxymoron. By definition, a miracle cannot be explained by natural laws. So there is no "miracle of birth," etc.

Count me in as a believer then.

Without any miracles/paranormal phenomena I should think materialist-atheism makes the most sense.

Sounds like magic. Miracles are life just as my getting up and brushing my teeth. Why seperate what we cannt explain (god) from what we can (man)?

I see no logic in miracles. Its all life and then some.

Life is full of, cough, stuff not explained. If that be the case, I have miracles everyday from when I get money out of the blue when Im broke (lucky?) Or guessing 100% right when the bus comes only when after waiting I walk away. Happens all the time. Guess its a religious word.

Coincidence is not miraculous.

The money came from somewhere, God didn't create it out of thin air and deposit it into your bank account. God didn't make the wheels of the bus spin in place long enough for you to walk away before it arrived at your stop. There are natural explanations for those events; ergo, they are not miraculous. But yes, people tend to use God to explain things they don't understand, even when there IS a natural explanation.

Repeated consequences many attribute to god. No one needs to develop wings or run faster than a locomotor to experience a miracle. Someone being cured of health without the doctors knowing how is the same as getting money when I dont know how. Its not the event. Doctors csnt predict one hundred percent the health of another. I cant see in the future in the latter.

Both are coinsedences. Life is full of them. We can be grateful just as waking up in the morning as so are miracles via our gratitude or we can wait until statues cry to say its from god.

I honestly dont see a difference in events just what people make up of them. Im a miracle to many who died from brain surgery. Im not specisl because the surgery I had was a 80% non coomplication. I see it as a miracle. Others say its natural

I dont see the difference; just in perspective

::: shrug ::: You're just redefining the word "miracle" to mean anything that seems fortuitous to you. Fair enough, as long as you recognize you are no longer talking about actual miracles any more, just the "It's a miracle I got home in time for the start of the game" kind.

All through the history of humanity 'unexplained things or happenings' have always been considered miraculous good or evil since the first humans on earth, nothing new.

The question will always remain are 'unexplained' miracles really miracles.' Arguing from ignorance' of the unexplained is not productive.

Um.! In the end when all its said and done and we've done trying to disprove things that we dont understand I'd rather be gullible and happy that a miserable skeptic that spends his/her life trying to convince people there reality isn't real.
