Just when you thought some extreme Christians could get any crazier, I came across this on another forum! I wonder what else this stupid woman avoids because it hasn't been mentioned in the Bible? She best live in a cave only wearing animal skins!

Anti-vaxxer ‘warrior mom’: If vaccines are so great, ‘why aren’t they mentioned in the bible?’

Sorry I don't appear to be able to post the link on this forum. Trying looking it up on google.

Not that I'm anti-vax, but man you gotta do your homework on these things. Some of them have contained toxic substances like mercury. Some have side-effects that result in sterility, and other fun.

Though yea, you could put away the phone and the computer too. Stop watching TV, etc. :D

“I just decided to just google what the bible says about vaccines,” Kara says at the outset of the video.
So she never even opened the Bible. Hardly an exemplary in any sense.

Did you know Baseball is implied in the Bible? Yeah....
Eve stole first,
Adam stole second,
Rebecca walked to the well,
Gideon rattled the pitchers.
Goliath was put out by David,
And the Prodigal Son made a home run.

Just when I thought some threads couldn't get and more mean-spirited and petty, ...

In fairness, it really isn't the OP's fault. It's the fault of the decline of quality journalism and the rise of the internet that caters to this kind of garbage. Once upon a time, this crap was contained to those tabloids you pass by at the check-out lanes in the grocery store.

They are mentioned in the Bible.... The word for witchcraft in Greek is pharmakeia (G5331); which is where we get the word Pharmacy and Pharmaceuticals from. ;)

In my opinion.

Thinking about this further.... I am willing to bet that greater than 50% (probably closer to 90%) of all things we take for granted in the 21st century were not mentioned in the Bible

I know it won't matter to some, but look at the actual facts - without them there would be terrible illnesses and with many many many deaths. The anti-vaxxers are responsible for outbreaks of illnesses we had under control with terrible suffering and death.

Yeah, but some of the crap kills you or injures you permanently. If you're worried about disease spread the best damn thing you can do is stop hanging with random people. :D

Just to share a real story, my father-in-law has liver issues contracted from taking certain vaccines. He basically has all the effects of having hepatitis c, but never had the infection in his life. Anyway, I'm not saying don't take them, I'm saying like anything you put in your body extensively research it. Most of them have side-effects, complications, and whatnot. You may decide that it might be easier to alter your lifestyle than take some of them. You need that information before you make a decision, and that's all I'd ever suggest. Most of the time it's worth the risk as the illness may be worse than any possible unintentional effect.
