Atheists attack religion* because they are ignorant

. . . but it does not help nor is it meaningful to dislike work. Like hating math, math and work are indifferent to your emotional involvement hatred nor disliking something nor the other..

Nonetheless, atheists do not hate things like Gods, angels devils, unicorns and dragons they do not believe in.
not sure about that either

Problem with logic is it remains reasoning and justification from the fallible human perspective.

I actually agree based on my 'belief' that there is only ONE Almighty and not three. Unfortunately the different religions disagree as to whose God is the Almighty God, or as the case may be Gods.
I'm not religious

but it is written.....Ye ARE gods....

I think it' s a matter of hierarchy

That is like saying I am not human. IT is the unfortunate use of a word, 'religion,' like a stone to throw at people who believe differently. Your humility is overwhelming.
well....there is no glory in being human

God is Spirit
the sons of God are spirit
the kingdom is not of this world
and flesh cannot inherit the kingdom

These are the people who attack Christmas displays, or think it's funny to disrupt prayer services. They go out looking for things to be offended by, and unsurprisingly are offended at what they find in others. It does indeed bespeak great insecurity. Like the teenager who gets compulsively large numbers of piercings or tattoos, or who cuts himself/herself: they are massively frustrated and depressed.

I've known and seen many religious folks who were jerks. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter if you're a theist or atheist, a jerks going to be a jerk.

Strangely enough I think that I have seen more Christians attack "religion" than atheists. Many Christians call beliefs that are not their own by using "religion" in a derogatory fashion. Since they are highly religious I was always confused by that.

Only narcissists are interested in seeking glory. Do you think being a narcissist is a good thing?

if you are attempting to leave out the discussion of an afterlife.....
that won't work

in the list of superlatives.....only ONE can be Almighty

I base my beliefs on what can be observed, measured or otherwise KNOWN. Your claim is unsupported by any credible evidence or even a good argument. Your claim is based solely on your unsupported opinion.

so.....if I can't rub it in your face.....it's not real?

I don't see this. Why couldn't there be multiple maximally mighty beings?
