I don’t actually agree with that, since I believe we have what people call ‘the Holy Spirit’ at birth. We just also have free will which allows us to ignore this connection to the Lord. And we all choose to do it since we listen to the flesh and the world before listening to the Lord.
Take Genesis. Although I cannot relate to this story in its literal sense, I can point out that Adam was directly united with the Lord upon creation. His free will choice of disobedience and subsequent repentance did not alter what was there originally.
Do you have any idea or clue why God gave us Free Will ?
God gave us Free Will, to chose between good and evil.
If a person chooses to do evil, then they will suffer the consequences of what evil has to offer them.
If a person chooses to do good then they will receive the things that good has to offer them
God gave us the free will to chose between doing good and doing evil.
That if a person chooses to do evil, then they take what ever evil has to offer them,
To do evil then evil offers death to those who do evil.
If a person chooses to do good, then they take whatever good has to offer them.
To do good, then good offers life eternal.
It's your life of free will, to choose evil or good. Then depending on which one you chose by your free will, then you take what each one has to offer.
It's better to know what each one stands for and has to offer, before picking one of them blindly.
It's like this, a person was walking and came upon a snake, and the snake said, do not worry I will not bite you, and the person pick the snake up, and stated to walk. And when the person went pet the snake, the snake bit them, and the person said to the snake, you told me will not to worry you will not bite me and the snake said to them, you knew exactly that I was a snake before you pick me up ?
