Arming teachers is a great idea

It's good, but maybe shouldn't be mandatory. I think if a teacher wants to be get some basic firearm training and bring a concealed carry then more power to them! Gun free zones = easy targets. Why not armed guards at the school though?

Right...you do realize a couple teachers accidentally shot themselves not to mention one teacher brought a gun to school and shot it off....Smart idea

Accidents happen ... even trained police officers have accidentally shot themselves. I'm not sure why you want schools to be soft targets for psychopaths.

They have gun lockers in Israeli schools with "assault rifles" so it's not a big deal. The Israelis have been doing it for years ... how many school shootings do you hear about from Israel?

Why should it suck?

All theyed have to do is strap a gun to there side, learn how to use it. And...hope they dont need to use it and.....thats it. Go on there day teaching.

The reality is, the one who shoots the other first is the one who gets the upperhand.

That could be him shooting me, or me shooting him.

Its not guaranteed hed shoot me first. Remember, its not the movies.
