I learned from gentleman that god only chose those who chose him.
That makes sense because why would god chose people who dont want to believe in him; everyone would be saved. No need for christ.
He mentioned he rather be a slave to god. That makes sense too. If you are not a slave to god, you want to have a role in your salvation. If you are completely obedient, it is no longer about you (no ego) but only about god.
This is how I would see predestination as per your OP. Explain your comment.
It can be taken in many ways.
Let's see, so what your saying, is that you chosen your mother and father, your mother and father didn't chose you, but you chosen your mother and father.
So God being the Father, So you chosen the Father, The Father didn't chose you, but you chosen the Father.
So how does this work, that you chose mother and father, before you were born.
