Is taking the lord's name in vain a form of blasphemy against the Spirit of God?

Is saying "Oh my god" taking the lord's name in vain?

or

"Oh my lord" taking god's name in vain?

what is the problem with taking vanity of the name?

I think that taking the name of God in vain isn't a warning about saying any word. Isn't "take" as in you must not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, about acting in accordance with it? In other words, you must not act on behalf of Jehovah for your own advantage,

i agree. it would be like taking something of god and dividing something else of god against it for vainglory purposes and not necessarily for truthful purposes. god is not a respecter of persons and different measures, weights, and rules are an abomination to the Lord.

so if god created everything of itself, then................

can one member say to another member of god that i am better, greater than you?

I think it stems from the believe that using the lord's name in vain is as an act that sully's the name of the lord.

But not like humanity could do anything against god that would really hurt him. I think it's just for believers not to get offended or anything like that.

i found an example vain-glory and what I think you were explaining:

isaiah 66:5-6

Hear the word of the Lord,
you who tremble at his word:
“Your own people who hate you,
and exclude you because of my name, have said,
‘Let the Lord be glorified,
that we may see your joy!’
Yet they will be put to shame.
6 Hear that uproar from the city,
hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound his enemies all they deserve.

That sounds like bad news for me.

as you have intuitively discovered god isn't exclusive to a person, a tribe, a religion, a culture given god created all these things for her purpose. but some would like to pretend they have god's ear to themselves.

It is my opinion that that sentence needs fixing.

God isn't exclusive. Correct! I know that. Jesus is for that God isn't even exclusive to what sins a person has committed.
You do not know what any person "likes". And, I don't even know what that last sentence means. Does it mean anything?

the idea that that a person, a religion, has exclusive rights to the truth and/or love.

would like to pretend = believing without question
