God's misleading word

John 6:35
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Okay so he obviously wasn't talking about physical hunger... What kind of hunger is he talking about? Hunger of the Spirit?

I feel like I'm spiritually starving and I go to Christ all the time... It would be nice if he would show me that his word is true...

"Shall not hunger.... never thirst".... you gotta be kidding me Mr. Christ! Why should I keep my word when you don't keep yours?

"Never thirst"....blah blah blah.... Actions speak louder than words mr. God....Christians are thirsty as hell! There is a spiritual famine for sure!! And you have been unfaithful to your misleading words. Shame on you!

I still love you though! Come here you! I forgive you! ((Hugs)) *smooches*:glomp:

Please give us a new Bible and a new covenant Mister God.

Your Bible is full of promises and words that are misleading and contradictory... The world needs something new, ... The Bible is so outdated and confusing.... give us a new Messiah, new Prophets, signs and wonders, may it be done in Jesus name! Let those who come to you NEVER thirst!

I understand that there were no TV evangelists doing altar calls 24/7. There was/is the path, that may last the entire life. Sounds like Buddhism, right? Bible is not the path just a finger pointing right direction.

You are too funny... God offers you manna and you turn around, reject it, eat pop tarts and then complain.

First you say you believe, then you don't want to accept the word.

It would appear to me that if anyone is not true to his word is...... you. :D but he loves you! :D

I would suggest you stop going to church.
The message you are receiving from them is obviously not satisfying you.
If you want the truth then use the book the way it was designed to be used, as a mirror.
The Christ you are looking for is inside of you.
Know thyself

If that's the case, I shall work my muscles and always be working on developing that faith to move mountains . I will not relent! :D
That is quite biblical :)

Any muscle, if you stop exericising them, shrink. So it if is unbelief faith and you work it... it will grow!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing... you don't pray for it. Rom 10:17 What are you hearing? Jesus said "The measure that you hear, it will be measured back unto you. Be careful what you hear"

It is good to pray for stronger faith. God can enhance and strengthen any virtue

God can enhance but it doesn't relieve us from our responsibility to hear and build our faith. Like praying for a job, God can open doors but you still have to apply for it. FAith without works is still dead in producing results.

I mean no offense to Catholics or anyone else, but the Catholic church along with many other Christian organizations don't teach people about the baptism of the holy Spirit. Jesus came to baptize us in the holy Spirit as John the baptist said. How often do you even hear the phrase "baptism of the holy Spirit"?

If prayer, belief and scripture doesn't work, try to meditate to clear your head and gain something.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

That is correct. There is a finger pointing in a direction in Buddhism. Christianity too.

But it's prudent and insightful to understand that all paths are empty.

He promises to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. What kind of a father would give his son a fish when he asks for a snake? I would not be upset at God if he would simply guide me to do his will. It isn't much to ask.

I've been baptized in the spirit and spoken in tongues at a charismatic Catholic service

And which "spirit" was that? Keep in mind, that according to Revelation 16:13-14, the devil's demon spirit is afoot, and he targets the "kings of the whole world", which would include the king of the Vatican, who has his own "Catholic service".
