Sign of the end (day of the LORD/judgment)?

Muffled

Jesus in me
He did. He also said it will come like a thief in the night, that it will be unexpected.

I believe it can't be unexpected if He already told us it would happen. I do anticipate that there won't be any major warning signs that the majority of the population would recognize.

I believe this is too nebulous. Does it mean the very last person in the world? Who knows? And who would know when the last person is reached? All that can be said is that we have preached the gospel all over the world so we ought to be fairly close to the end.

The “gospel” , that has been preached by the majority of “Christian” sects, is the false gospel of grace, which came from the false prophet Paul, whose corpse now supposedly resides somewhere outside of Rome. The gospel of Yeshua was “Repent: for the king of heaven is at hand”(Matthew 4:17), which is in the here and now. While the JWs actually preach the kingdom of God, which another kingdom, at another time, and is behind the “door” (Matthew 24:33), none of the sects have the power or the Spirit of the “kingdom of heaven”, for they have substituted for the real “teacher, leader, and Father” (Matthew 23:8-10) with the substitutes provided for by the false prophet Paul. Ephesians 4:11

With the internet, that gospel can be heard at the speed of light. And like a mustard seed, can grow exceedingly fast, and under harsh conditions.

You're wishing your own meaning onto the Garden story instead of reading what it says.
The serpent's words (NOT Satan's, as Kelly of the Phoenix pointed out), You shall not die, are an accurate statement, since they refer to Yahweh's warning not to eat the fruit because if they did they'd die the same day. But they ate the fruit and did not die (the same day), just as the serpent said.
)

Just as the creative days were Not literal 24 hour days, or one's grandfather's day was Not a 24 hour day, the Genesis ' day ' was referring to a thousand-year day, or a millennium-long day.
So, Adam and Eve ( Nor anyone one else ) could live past age 1,000.
Please notice that Adam died within that 'thousand-year day' as per Genesis 5:5 dying at age 930.
That includes Methuselah as found at Genesis 5:27.
So, according to the Bible, God was right. And I think mankind will find God right about Jesus governing over Earth for a thousand years, or for a millennium-long day of ruling over Earth in righteousness,
So, a thousand years is as a ' day ' in God's eyes according to 2 Peter 3:8; Psalms 90:4

The pseudepigraph 2 Peter at 3:8 says a thousand years are as a day AND a day is as a thousand years. You can derive no stable rule of divine chronology from this (even were it authentic).
So, Adam and Eve ( Nor anyone one else ) could live past age 1,000.
The practice of attributing great ages to people of a past era comes (in this case) from Mesopotamia, where the Sumerian king lists have pre-flood rulers living to tens of thousands of years ─Enmenluana reigned for 43,000 years, for example. Some lists date to 2500 BCE (about a thousand years before Yahweh makes an appearance in history). The Sumerians' Gilgamesh stories, you'll recall, gave the authors of Genesis their template for the Noah's flood story.

So when we read those dates we're not dealing with facts, but like the Garden tale itself, simple what the stories say.
So, according to the Bible, God was right.
In the story God was plainly wrong. It was the serpent who got it right. Adam and Eve ate the fruit and did NOT die the same day. But they were always going to die some time ─ the tale not only says nothing about death entering the world but flatly contradicts that notion.

I am all ears. What does it mean?

I find backing back to Revelation 9:4-6 that the figurative tormenting locusts plague is directed to harm only those without the Seal of God meaning those of Christendom whose very long record exposes them to be part of the false MANY of Matthew 7:21-23.
Often in Christendom ( so-called Christian ) we find both believing and Non-believing members.
Their religious leaders are the 'blind leading the blind' of Matthew 15:14.

As for 5 months that is the normal or usual life span of those locusts, so as long as those figurative locusts live they have stinging messages for enemies of God ( the truth of the Bible torments them ).
The anti-God clergy of 2 Thessalonians 2:2-8 who sit themselves in the ' temple ' (houses of worship) as if they are God when in reality they are anti-God. They are like the un-faithful of Jeremiah 8:3.
Their religious lies are now exposed, and their death-like spiritual state is now seen.
Their religious ' waters ' (their people) are now drying up spiritually.
The four angels ' kill ' in exposing Christendom's spiritually dead condition, and ' get out of her ' - Revelation 18:4.
Both the angels and the locusts like horses of cavalry with heads like lions tied to THE courageous Lion ( Jesus ) of the tribe of Judah and are involved in theocratic or heavenly warfare. They have 'symbolic' destructive fire, smoke, sulfur power. Symbolic because it is just the executional words from Jesus' mouth according to Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:14-16 that will bring an end to the wicked. Until that time, fiery-adverse judgement messages goes forth to those playing false to God and His Word.

Revelation 9:11New American Standard Bible (NASB)
They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.

.... so he's identified in both Hebrew and Greek languages, and in other words in plain English his name is JESUS.
- Revelation 1:18; Revelation 20:1

Actual locust have a life span of around 2 months.

Revelation 1 of course it shows Revelation is written in symbolic pictures.
I notice at Revelation 9:4-6 besides locusts that scorpions are also mentioned.
I don't know the life span of the scorpion but to me the point of the 'five-month torment' means while they are alive.
All the while those symbolic locusts and scorpions are alive they torment. The tormenting is how those people feel who are against the Bible. So, perhaps it is more like the scorpion life span.

That makes me think that you need to check what you put in that hooka.

How does your ^ above ^ curt reply explain Revelation 1:18 and Revelation 20:1 to us.
I find Jesus' power regarding the abyss is also shown at Luke 8:32.
Jesus has destroying power over Satan according to Hebrews 2:14 B.
At Revelation 19:11-16 to me it is clear Jesus is pictured or represented as the appointed destroyer or executioner.
The destroying words from Jesus' mouth will execute the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4.

There is no “us” involved. No one believes that Yeshua’s is Apollyon, the destroyer, the angel of the abyss. Revelation 19:11-16, is about the Lord of Lords smiting the nations, and ruling with a rod of iron. This all done with the “sharp sword”, “which came from the mouth”.,(Revelation 19:21) There are no “locusts” involved. The “angel”of Revelation 9:1 opened the abyss, he didn’t rule the abyss. The locust didn’t destroy anyone, for their sting was to torment, and not to kill. (Revelation 9:5-6). You need to worry more about the 6th angel, whose “four angels”, would “kill a third of mankind” (Revelation 9:15). There are 7 churches and 7 angels of the 7 churches, and Yeshua was the son of man, not one of the angels (Revelation 1:13-20). You should ask yourself, "how have I become so confused"?
