Boanthropy is a psychological disorder in which the sufferer believes he or she is a cow or ox. The most famous sufferer of this condition was King Nebuchadnezzar, who in the Book of Daniel “was driven from men and did eat grass as oxen”.

What do you think causes boanthropy? Have you ever met anyone with that disorder.?

It is fascinating to ponder the causes of such an illness. What do you think the cure is? You can't just reeducate a delusional person to make the delusions go away.

It sounds like a type of schizophrenia.

Imagine being married to someone who became Afflicted with that disorder?

If you believe you are a cow or an ox, you're not alone. Get help before it's too late! :p

Had a great uncle who had this disorder. The family could have had him treated but they needed the milk.

Impossible female cows give milk and he was a male so you have it all wrong. Please stick to the facts science I tell you rules this reality, and science tells us boys don't give milk !!! They sit in fields and smell flowers.. Sheers!!!

i have heard a shaman state that the reason people have psychotic breaks is because the a spirit is trying to readjust the world view of the unhealthy soul.

evidently some won't survive the psychotic break; especially if they are continually numbed to their inner world.

Interesting if we gave a holstien bull steroids, what would happen? . Maybe he would become ferdinand. I hadn't thought of that possibility. He probably would have all kinds of gender issues lots of therapy probably want an operation to allow him to be who he really is!!!!!
