Sign of the end (day of the LORD/judgment)?

But this has been true of Muslims for centuries, as I pointed out; and they are a branch of (forms of) Judaism and acknowledge the god of Abraham, so there's a perfectly valid argument that (a) the circumstances of the prophecy were fulfilled long ago, (b) but the predicted consequences didn't happen (c) so the prophecy was actually a dud, as prophecies routinely are.

The tribe of Judah is represented by the term Jew, which includes the tribes of Benjamin and Levi. The “Muslims” are comprised of the families of Ishmael, and Essau, etc. The tribe of Israel contains 10 tribes, which includes Joseph being split into two tribes, his two sons. Ephraim was the son which inherited the name “Israel” from Joseph. The prophecy of Ezekiel 37, and Jeremiah 30, refer to Jacob, which includes the “stick”of “Judah”, and the “stick” of “Israel”. The “nations” of Jeremiah 30:11, would include Essau and Ishmael, among others. The nations don’t fare to well. (Daniel 2:35).

The prophecy of Daniel 2:34, with regard to the clay mixed with iron, which would be the Muslims, has already been fulfilled in 1967 and 1973, during the Israel wars. The Muslims were “crushed”, and they will be crushed again for the prophecy of Daniel 2:35.

There is the “kingdom of heaven” which is “at hand”(Matthew 4:17), ..................
And yes, Jeremiah 31:30, “everyone will die for their own iniquities”, but Paul thought that “we shall be changed”, “we shall not all sleep”, ” for this perishable shall put on the imperishable”. That never happened, and the living will not put on the imperishable. It is the dead saints which rise from the dead (Revelation 20:4). As for Matthew 25:40, that refers to the “white thrown judgment”, and occurs after the millennium, not before the millennium. That is when everyone comes out of their graves for the last judgment.(Revelation 20:13).

I find Not all sleep in death as in spending time in death.
At the time of 1 Thessalonians 4:16 Jesus ' brothers ' (saints) of Matthew 25:40 when they die they will Not spend time in death because the millennium is at hand at this time frame of Matthew 25:31-33.

The kingdom 'which is at hand' was because Jesus was there among them. Jesus was at hand Matthew 10:7.
That did Not mean they would Not die. They died. They did Not ascend ( be resurrected )at that first-century time frame.
At Mark 1:14-15 the time is fulfilled because Jesus was at hand, and we are to do the same type of spiritual work as Jesus did at Luke 4:43 as Jesus instructed his then future followers to do at Matthew 24:14; Acts of the Apostles 1:8.
Jesus' brothers ' ( the 'saints' of Daniel 7:18, 21-22, 27 ) and us have yet to see Daniel 2:44 take place.
Those holy ones or saints have the first or earlier resurrection as per 1 Corinthians 15:20,23; Revelation 20:6.
They serve in heaven with Jesus as being both kings and priest as per Revelation 5:9-10.

But, I find a ' branch ' or a ' limb ' is Not the Tree (Bible Scripture).
(a) I find the prophecy of Genesis 12:3; Genesis 22:18 was Not fulfilled long ago, but is coming.
(b) The predicted consequences of 2 Timothy 3:1-5,13 is happening in these ' last days ' of badness on Earth.
(c) Not a dud prophecy, but as the world will soon see the coming ' time of separation ' of Matthew 25:31-33 to take place on Earth before Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will fulfill God's promise to father Abraham that ALL families of Earth will be blessed, and ALL nations of Earth will be blessed. Blessed with the benefit of healing for earth's nations as per Revelation 22:2. As Revelation 21:5 states Bible words will prove to be faithful and true.
On the basis of what verifiable track record would you think any biblical prophecy, any fortuneteller's prediction, was true, once we put aside the usual generalizations and banalities, and the odd case of political slogans that had some success?

If there were an elaborate, remote and unforeseeable prophecy that was reported in the bible to have come true, which is the more likely explanation ─ that it was a true report of magic, or that it was a forgery added after the event?

What is the obvious sign that the end (Joel 2:31),(Matthew 24:29)(Revelation 6:12)(Zechariah 14:1-3)(Revelation 16:14-16)?

The obvious sign is what is happening now, which is the gathering of all the nations against "Jerusalem"

What gathering of nations? The US had bombed the Shiite out of the middle east for Israel. There are no strong states left in the ME but Israel. Israel is the dominate power.

I can think of countless examples of Christians who'd fit 'clay mixed with iron'. The history of Europe since the middle Dark Ages has been a history of Christian kings invading and killing each other and their neighbors, Popes repeatedly ordering invasions of the Holy Lands (sacking Christian Constantinople on the way through, you'll recall), the truly vile Thirty Years War, Catholic Louis XIV invading Catholic Spain, Catholic Italy, Protestant states in the Netherlands, and what's now Germany, and so on and so on through two World Wars. Oh, and Spain, Portugal, England and France, all vociferously Christian, colonizing the world, massacring the indigenous peoples, seizing their lands and goods, buying and selling slaves, and so on. The Muslims have been positively cissy, peace personified, by comparison.

The dominant power in the world was the U.S.. Israel’s power results from “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah…..in at day, declares the LORD, I will strike every horse with bewilderment, and his rider with madness”. This was carried out in the 67 & 73 Israeli wars, in which the clay combined with iron was crushed (Daniel 2:34), and Israel took control of all of Jerusalem. The future includes the crushing of the clay and the iron, along with the gold, silver, bronze, and iron (Daniel 2:35). The worst is to come, and “Jerusalem” will be “captured” (Zechariah 14:1-3) by the gathered “nations”, and then the “LORD will go forth to fight”. The nations which go against Jerusalem will be “all the nations”, not just the Muslims and their Russian allies, such as the “clay”and “iron” of (Daniel 2:34), in 1967, but all the nations will go against Jerusalem.

The book of Daniel was about the tribe of Judah, the Jews and their history, starting with the capture of Jerusalem by the “head of gold”, Nebuchadnezzar. Your Europe, would be represented by the legs of iron, the Roman Empire, which include the “thighs of bronze”, which would be the Greeks, who captured Jerusalem by Antiochus, whereas the Romans captured Jerusalem by means of Pompey & Titus. They all will once again be “crushed”, along with the “iron and clay”(Daniel 2:35), but first they will “capture” “Jerusalem” again (Zechariah 14:2), preceding the “valley of judgment” (Joel 3:1-2), which also known as “the awesome day of the LORD” (Joel 2:31).

Superstitious nonsense. This may be hard for you to accept but the entire Universe doesn't revolve around the Jews. And the Bible is mostly likely written directly by men not God. Men are full of fear. Maybe you are afraid too.

My faith in God must be stronger than yours because I don't think our omnipotent God of unconditional love would allow billions of innocent women and children to be subject to so much unnecessary evil. If you are praying for the end of the World maybe you need to work on getting some love in your heart instead of hate and the end of the world will not happen.

You have the power. If it were up to you would you choose end or continue?

I hate to break your bubble, but Daniel is about Judah, the Jews, during their stay in Babylon after the destruction of Jerusalem by Nechadnezzar, and what the future had in stall for them.

The “awesome day of the LORD”, which includes the judgment on the nations, is written about in Joel 2:31-Joel 3:2, Jeremiah 30:11, Revelation 9:17, etc. You can “repent” of your “murders”, “thefts”, etc., or you can continue on your eating, drinking, and making marry (Matthew 24:38), but the end, the “coming of the son of man”, will be as when “Noah entered the ark”, and it will end up with the “hypocrites” going to a place where there will be “weeping”, and “gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51). The “love more than thou” hypocrites, such as our modern Progressive Liberals, will find themselves railing at the moon, much as they do now, when yelling at the sky.

I find 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 that the setting is set in these last days of badness on Earth, so Not anything added 'after' the event because the event of when the ' powers that be ' will be saying, "Peace and Security" is still ahead of us.
That proclaiming is a 'final signal', so to speak, before the outbreak of the great tribulation of Revelation 7:14.
We know that ' final signal ' is approaching because we are near the climax, or near the ' final phase ' of Matthew 24:14 because the nations will know who God is.

I find the ' clay mixed with iron ' is part of the 'political statue' of Daniel chapter 2.
That statue is about to fall down because feet mixed with iron and clay can't stand too long.
Seems to me we are even past the time of the statue's toes, and are more like in the time of the toenails!
However, the statue does Not collapse on its own, but God's kingdom stone will strike it and bring it down.

What don’t you understand about “what the future had in stall for them”? That includes the interactions with the nations. You guys need to get a grip. The “kingdom” God will be set up, with David as king (Ezekiel 37:24), and is yet in the future, as well as it will “crush and put an end to all of these kingdoms” (Daniel 2:44), which is with respect to all the “nations” depicted in Jeremiah 30:11. As for Daniel 12:4, “the end of the age” is now, and it was future with respect to the Jewish Daniel and the Jews. The words of this book are “concealed”, but they are only concealed to the “wicked” at the “end of the age” (Daniel 12:10).

It boils down to a single proposition: prophecy ─ supernatural foresight ─ is a form of magic, and magic is only found in the imagination.

At best, it's folly to resort to electronic/computer translations. They cannot consider context, and that is the major key to a decent translation and at the same time the greatest challenge in translations. It's basically what enables someone to identify an electronic translation, because these computers do not understand a languages syntax and context, both of which are crucial in understanding/translating another language.
Yeah, there are entire Youtube channels dedicated to funny songs as re-re-re-re-translated through google. :)

1/ The smoke
A LOST monster is going to attack? COOL!

2/ The Anti-Christ
Gee, THAT narrows it down.

3/ an Animal talking to people

Check. :)

4/ The sun rising from the West
Happens all the time to people who don't know which way they're going.

5/The advent of Eisa(Jesus)
Has he learned from his previous work experience?

6/ The appearance of Yajooj and Majooj
Seriously, I think people just let cats play on keyboards to come up with names.

7/ 3 major quakes. a major earthquake in the east, the West and the Arab peninsula
With fracking, it's even easier to get a quake. Just sign on the dotted line and your home won't be still for the rest of its much shorter life!

8/ the last major sign; tremendous fire starting in Yemen sweeps the people towards El Sham, the gathering ground for Judgement.
No smoking in campgrounds: problem solved. :)

In Revelation 13:1 what is the beast,
having 7 heads, and 10 horns, and 7 crowns,
King Ghidorah if the person's vision is blurry? That's okay, though. I don't mind. Japan has Godzilla AND Mothra, who both have a strong history of beating that guy up. :)

Satan/devil is not a “sinner”, he is the father of lies, and “sinners” are his sons (1 John 3:8). The biggest lie is “you surely shall not die” (Genesis 3:4)
*smh* SATAN ISN'T IN THAT STORY AND THE SERPENT WAS TELLING THE TRUTH.

I hope God realizes that we've had the opportunity to watch all sorts of disaster and monster movies. We got this. :)

I assume you're aware of Steven Pinker's book The Better Angels of our Nature, in which he points out that the world has become steadily more peaceful over the past half millennium, and that it only seems more violent because news sources around the world report things that formerly went unnoticed?

That's good news, isn't it? It means that if you believe in the Millennium, we're getting further from it all the time, not nearer.

You're wishing your own meaning onto the Garden story instead of reading what it says.

The serpent's words (NOT Satan's, as Kelly of the Phoenix pointed out), You shall not die, are an accurate statement, since they refer to Yahweh's warning not to eat the fruit because if they did they'd die the same day. But they ate the fruit and did not die (the same day), just as the serpent said.

(The claim that the text says Adam and Eve would otherwise live forever is directly contradicted by Yahweh's words: he clearly states his reasons for pitching them out of the Garden at Genesis 3:

22 ... 'Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever ─' 23 therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden ...
No mention of death entering the world, disobedience, the fall of man, sin, original sin, the need for a redeemer. Those are nowhere in the text. >A closer look here.<)

LMFAO!!! That is probably the greatest and funniest example of why my German teacher would automatically fail someone's assignment if they used Google Translate. It's just that bad and obvious. But I have to give credit to the lady singing. She not only sounded good, if I would have tried that there'd be no way I could make it through without laughing hysterically at the translation.

Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about otherwise you would not be quoting scripture but writing in your own words.

If I may ask, how do you fit Joel 2:31,
Joel 3:2, and Jeremiah 30:11 into
Revelation 9:17 ?

If you notice in Joel 2:31--"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come"

Notice the word ( before ) meaning this all happens before Chirst Jesus returns.

But how do you get Joel 2:31, Jeremiah 30:11, to fit into Revelation 9:17 ?

Do you have any idea what Revelation 9:17
Is about ?
