Has anybody ever put themselves in God's shoes?

And then asked yourself what is fair and just, and what ain't?

What should I tell humanity?

How should I tell humanity what they need to know?

If all of humanity is sinful, and I want to save them, what should I do?

. . . Putting on god shoes!

Yes.

Yes.

What should I tell humanity?
That God is Love.

How should I tell humanity what they need to know?
Through everything they see and touch.

If all of humanity is sinful, and I want to save them, what should I do?
Tell them they are Love.

. . . Putting on god shoes!
God generally walks around barefoot. ;)

Presumably, as god, I'd already know the answers , so I wouldn't need to ask.

As for suggested answers:

What is fair and just, and what ain't?
What isn't fair is saddling all of humanity with the sins of two ancient people.
What is fair is removing the whole sin/salvation operation
What should I tell humanity?
I'm sorry.
How should I tell humanity what they need to know?
Invest it in the consciousness of every child.
If all of humanity is sinful, and I want to save them, what should I do?
DUH! How about following your instinct and do just that: save them.

The problem with being God is how does one know one is God or a very very delusional person. If all reality conforms to one's wishes then either one is God or one is having a delusion/dream. How does one test?

In this case, you are not god, your just taking on the role.

All knowing, and completely just, with the keys to all important powers. Those are the qualifications.
How does one know that one is all knowing?
How does one know that one is fully just?
How does one know that he has access to all the important powers?

I'd look in the mirror and say,
"Who the hell put me in charge"?

Yes but first you need to understand what and infinite being would want with creation as we understand it. Then you need to understand what would the purpose of this creation be, are humans really the final stage. If humans are the final stage and you understand why then you can figure out what to tell humans.

I would remove the first of two of the 'most important' laws. Save the thankful and thankless alike. Not make salvation contingent on worship. Judge only according to action, not faith.

I also wouldn't bother testing to see if mankind would have faith in me in my absence, and get along with being directly involved in making the world better. And I'd do it without a theocracy. Voluntary only.

Wow, you'd get right to work!

I agree with all of that. Why waste any time!
