Riddle # 1.

How is a raven like a writing desk?

From: how is a raven like a writing desk answer - Google Search
LEWIS CARROLL himself proposed an answer in the 1897 final revision of Alice's Adventures. "Because it can produce a few notes, though they are very flat; and it is never put with the wrong end in front!" The early issues of the revision spell "never" as "nevar", ie "raven" with the wrong end in front.

Riddle # 2.

How is a Donald Trump like a smart person?

both are human beings, but the first is questionable.

A raven, a writing desk, a smart person, and Donald Trump all will not let embarrassment get in the way.
A raven never has that feeling. A desk can't be embarrassed. A smart person avoids such things that can be embarrassing. And Trump doesn't care.

I feel like the answer to the second riddle has something to do with lobster traps.

It occurred to me years ago the lobster traps only catch the mediocre lobsters.

The really dumb ones can't figure out how to get in, and the really smart ones don't go in because they see they'd be trapped... so both extremes have something in common.
