How Does One Actually Love YHWH/Jehovah?

The question here is, "Given the specific definition of Agape provided in 1 Cor. 13:4-8, what is to be materially done to Love YHWH/Jehovah, other than merely talking about it, chatting with one's ideas, and having nice feelings?"
YHWH is a consuming fire, by which I mean it spreads. You really cannot apply Agape to YHWH directly. You can become part its burning. You can love other people, and you can work hard to uphold the name. It is a fire that does not go out, and so you should associate it with pain and with cleansing. It is not a human kind of thing. YHWH is more raw than human, like a barrier separating our world from nothingness. It speaks like wind or thunder, not like people. If you could physicalize it and hug it you'd be cut up. Agape is for people but the YHWH is intangible.

Please notice here neither the generic "god" word nor the specific title of "God" is being used. This discussion is not for those who worship and pursue "gods and goddesses." It is for those who are the People of YHWH/Jehovah. His commonly used title "God" these days is far too easily mishandled and misrepresented.

If you love Him:

*obey His commands
*help widows and orphans
*give to the poor of the CHURCH
*etc. and above all, share the gospel

As I grew older and lived away from my parents, I kept in touch with them weekly, or monthly as the case might be. There was always a feeling of family between us, the memories bound us together as did our actions.

Now they are gone, but I still think fondly on them even though at the end, there was some problems I would rather have avoided if it had been possible.

My heavenly Father, the Almighty God, listens to my prayers and helps me with his Word to get through the days. He carries my daily burden as scripture says, though it is done through his son, Jesus Christ. He is closer to me than my parents in that He always is there and listens to my prayers. Comfort from Him comes from His scriptures, and after prayer for it.
You have not answered the question of this Thread. Are you perhaps confused? You can be prayed for.

I don't believe that God hears the words of haughty ones. Beware Proverbs 16:18 may apply.

Do you worship and adore "the least of these?"

Lol. You cannot answer.

I believe that the answer is that we are not to worship and adore anyone but YHWH. We are to do good to the least of Christ's brothers....so do you do this? Who are Christ's brothers? Who are the least of them?

Whilst you are judging everyone else.....do you see these statements of yours as "Christ-like"? I find them more Pharisaical TBH.

What is the definition of a hypocrite?...."a person whose actions are out of harmony with his words".....are you doing all of the things you condemn in others? How would we know you aren't the biggest fake on RF? You carry no weight here....you are just another anonymous voice big noting yourself as far as I can tell.

All of your statements are pure speculation from a busy imagination.

What are you trying to defend here? Do you even know? Lol.

The first word of your "answer" is "I." That clearly tells us who is most important to you.

Since I am non denominational, and non Trinitarian, how do I do what you asked? "1 Cor. 13:4-8, what is to be materially done to Love YHWH/Jehovah?"

The point then would be to preach the Gospel using one's time and means, e.g. computer, to spread the message while trying to live a holy life in Christ. I try also to be cognizant of the those who are poor and need something for the day to carry them through.

Obviously you are unaware. You ask questions of others but cannot answer questions yourself.....why is that?

By the tone of your posts "I" seems to be your own most important concern.

Since "I" am the only one I can speak for, grammatically I could not use any other pronoun.

I agree. Because you are empty, you cannot speak for Christ.

Certain kinds of people worry about the "tone" of what is said. Are you one of those?

So, if you worshipped and adored pitiful people, then you would be worshipping and adoring Christ. You said it, not me.

Lol.

Do you keep His Commandments? Just answer the question with facts. Try not to speak milque toast excuses from church.

Which of His commands have you ever in part obeyed, other than to not steal, not murder, and not commit sexual sin?
Going out and preaching quite a lot! Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 13:10. I’m one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Have at several times helped strangers, broken down beside the road.

I’ve even bought groceries a few times for those needing food.

I could ask you the same, but it doesn’t matter. We all have to answer for ourselves, not others. — Galatians 6:4-5.

Take care.
