Why do folks take it personal; when you're speaking about a thing that doesn't personally belong to them. Like the idea of clothing. If I were to discuss a sweater, shirt, blouse, and how it functions, then why does it become personally about their blouse, shirt, tank top, et al? is the form more important, or the appearance, than the function it provides?
Is it harder for some to understand and realize that an apparel's function isn't exclusive to their culture; unless their motive is to appear different as a function?
