A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing

A little understanding is a loving, life giving thing.

the Tree of Life and the Tree of good and evil, one and the same? One uniting in love the other dividing asunder like the word; which is a two edged sword?

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

By the fruit of the tree you know them.

Psalm 1:3
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Jeremiah 17:8
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

I think I understand you and I think they don't.
I have also proposed that the two trees are really one tree. It is all about how you look at it.

No knowledge is dangerous no matter how it is used.

knowledge in itself is neither good nor bad.

using knowledge to control other people for self's gain, aggrandizing, and someone's loss is not a positive.

1 Corinthians 8:1
8 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We all possess knowledge. But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.

Knowledge is power. If that power isn't used with love, it's used for selfish reason.

Nothing is gained unless knowledge is used.
Any way in which knowledge is used knowledge is gained.

true, but somethings aren't worth the gain; if selfishly motivated and requiring self to recapitulate.

Any way in which knowledge is used knowledge is gained.

when the knowledge isn't for all it becomes an impediment to the All.

the seeker will have to recapitulate and overcome the ego

What you say is true. What is missing is the understanding that knowledge can be gained through the miss use of knowledge.
Knowledge used is knowledge gained.
