It is written that an image of The God should not be created.
People are trying to explain God.
To explain God a person first has to create an image of God in his mind.
Why do people seem to believe that it is not alright to draw a picture or to make a statue,
but it is alright to make a mental image of God?

The Trinity controversy is just that. The two sides are trying to draw a picture of GOD.

If something you say God says isn't true, what does that make God?

Who should put their faith in a liar?

g3100. μαθητεύω mathēteuō; from 3101; intransitively, to become a pupil; transitively, to disciple, i.e. enroll as scholar: — be disciple, instruct, teach.
I can't say what I am thinking about you. It is against the forum rules.

I believe you are in error. The law is to not make idol images. God is not an idol.

Matthew 7:22-23--"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name have cast out devil's? And in your name done many wonderful works"

First notice Jesus said "many will say to me in that day"
So Jesus is referring to a Pacific ( day )
What ( day ) is that ?

We know Jesus didn't give the exact day or hour.
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father"
Mark 13:32.

But what God did do, is give his Elect people to see what is happening in that
( day ) and (hour).
This is because, so that when that ( day ) and ( hour ) does come, God's elect people will know that ( day ) and ( hour ) as arrived. By God letting them know ahead of time what will be happening in that ( day ) and ( hour ) that when that ( day ) and
( hour ) does come, God's elect will know that ( day ) and ( hour ) has come, by things God has let them know what will be happening in that (day) and (hour).

God has let his Elect people know all about this day and hour in the book of Revelation.

Notice Jesus also said "that many will prophesied in his name in that day.

Who are these people that will be prophesied in Jesus name?

In the book of Mark 13:6--"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many"

Note that Christ is abbreviated for Christian.
Christ = Christian.
Who else will be out in the world witnessing in the name of Christ, other than Christians ?
You really don't believe that the wicked person would be out witnessing in the name of Christ.
So that leaves us only with one group of people.

But you have to Remember that there are two groups of Christians in the world.
One being the true Christians and the other being the false Christians in the world.

Note that Jesus continued to say, "and in your name have cast out devil's ? And in your name done many wonderful works"

Note that Jesus speaking, saying, in Matthew 23:15 --"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you compass sea and land to make one
Proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves"

Note According to the Strong's Concordance in the Greek 4339, translation
Proselyte means = Convert.

So who's out in the world converting people with falsehoods ?

Note that Jesus also said --"And in your name done many wonderful works"

So who's out doing many wonderful
( witnessing) works in the name of Jesus.

Other than Christians? But are found in teachings falsehoods to convert people to make them twofold more the child of hell than themselves?

Many false Christians are out teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Taking Christ Jesus words and twisting them into saying what they want, just to give support to their agenda of a rapture theory. Which is nothing more than man's teachings and doctrines the commandments of men.

Note that Jesus tells these people in Verse 23 of Chapter 7 of Matthew.
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from Me, You that work
Iniquity"

Iniquity means = Lawlessness.

So who are these people out committing lawlessness? All in the name of Christ ?

"These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts, and their mouth speaking great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage" Jude 16

Who are these that hold persons in admiration of what they say, in taking advantage of then. making them more the child of hell than themselves.

I understand that what you say is as close to real as can be EXCEPT Matthew 7:23. First it is a though you define what I think Matthew 7:23 was written saying and then you revert back to what THEY say was written.

The question was about Matthew 7:23 and not about Matthew 7:22.

That they teach falsehoods and the commandments or men PROVE that they are not with Jesus.
If they were with Jesus, they could not teach them.

Therefore, I trust that what was written is, "YOU never knew ME". If they had known Christ, they would be with him and they would be able to just tell the truth.
It's no big deal really, but it goes to prove that their deceptions have even crept into THE BIBLE. Oh no! What shall we DO?
Revelation 14:5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

Oh, goody gumshoes! I am hearing a request to do the math! And I love to pretend that I know math.

To know Jesus = to be with Jesus

Now, look at Matthew 7:23

Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Away from is the opposite of with.

With ≠ away.

When they look for recognition for their belief that they do works in Jesus' Name (with Jesus)
He has declared publicly and always does that they do not know him and thus are not with him (they are away from him). Away from him means they are not of God's flock.

Also just because I can I shall say that to interpret ἀνομίαν as "evildoers" is a gross exaggeration.
It just means that they do their works away from the leader and on their own. Some of their works are very good. No?

Lawless just means not by order of The King.
So, not all lawless acts are criminal. Most aren't actually.

Have you any idea who those are in Revelation 14:5, and when they come about?

If you go back to Verse 1 of Revelation 14, You will find those are the 144.000 having their Father's name written in their foreheads.meaning in their brains.

Therefore Verse 5 of Revelation 14 is referring to the 144.000 of Israel.
Go to Revelation Chapter 7 and there you will find the 144.000 are given the names of each tribe of Israel and how many are in each tribe of Israel.

Now to Matthew chapter 7 Verse's 22 & 23.
Both of these Verse's go together. You can not separate them.
This is many peoples failure to separate when both Verse's goes together.

Verse 22 explains why Jesus is saying what he is saying in Verse 23.

That both Verse's 22& 23 are complementing each other.

I do not believe it means that. I think on their foreheads is that they identify themselves as with Jesus. Anybody seeing them know that they are not of this world.

I think it is an allegory.

Yes, they do. I know of no one who thinks they don't. Do you?

Verse 22 explains why Jesus is saying what he is saying in Verse 23.
Of course.

That both Verse's 22& 23 are complementing each other.
I can't call what you say Jesus says a compliment. It is what I think a bully would say.

It is also unkind to say in the last day "get away from me". If a person's whole life is who they are it is no wonder why most people want nothing to do with that bully.

The Forehead. Lobotomy.

the treatment achieved its effects by "reducing the complexity of psychic life". Following the operation, spontaneity, responsiveness, self-awareness and self-control were reduced. Activity was replaced by inertia, and people were left emotionally blunted and restricted in their intellectual range.

The 144.000 are of this world, only during the tribulation when God's elect people are delivered up before the antichrist, This is what bring out the 144.000

I can't believe that because when 144,000 is mentioned, it is always in Heaven.

As to where do you get that the 144.000 are always in heaven.

Christ Jesus gave to John, to know what is to come down here on earth, this includes the 144.000.
Therefore the 144.000 will be here on earth during the tribulation. These being the 12 tribes of Israel.

I do not agree with that. Where is it written that the 144,000 will be on the Earth later?
Are you making a bad association?
