So let's just say that originally God did create Adam and Eve and they were naked in the Garden of Eden.

If the original state of human beings before the fall was nakedness, don't you think that will be the status of redeemed and glorified human beings in heaven?

I would imagine if the Garden of Eden story is true, that Garden was a prefigurement of the gardens of paradise.

Do you think there will be a dress code in heaven? Is there anything indecent about the public display of the human body?

No. Each time the Bible depicts people or angels in heaven they are always dressed in white. Also, there is no sex, i.e. male-female, in heaven as Jesus said:

Matthew 22:30
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Angels do not marry or have offspring.
However, the people in heaven are going to have new bodies... So they will indeed have genitals.

Will there be rules that such members cannot be displayed? What reason is there for such rules?

I didn't say anything in the Op about sex

the bible calls the human body vile.

so in heaven, the glorious body is an asexual construct

I'm not Christian though.

but the new body would be dignified according to them. shameless.

Would there be any flesh at all, like anything solid? Or would it be some kind of non-corporeal existence? If angels have actual bodies, and if nakedness is outlawed in Heaven, then I suppose they'd have to have privacy and their own private apartments, so they can change clothes, take showers, go to the bathroom, etc. On that subject, I would guess that the bathrooms in Heaven are kept immaculately clean.

The belief is that we will have glorified bodies. So there will be flesh in heaven. I hope bowel movements don't smell as bad. Maybe they will be pink and smell like roses and incense :p

Jesus never said there would be "no sex" (i.e. male-female) in heaven. He said no one will get married in heaven. Talk about reading between embellishing what the scripture say!

Except that time in Genesis 6.

Well, those sons of God may have been angels, maybe not, we aren't told specifically. And many see those sons of God as the angels who sinned and became demons. The text is too vague to conclude it is definitely talking about angels. And nowhere else are angels referred to as sons of God in the Bible.

I tend to hold to the Catholic doctrine concerning angels.

"You are correct. Angels are pure intellects that do not have physical forms and do not reproduce sexually. Indeed, angels do not reproduce at all; God created each of them out of nothing at the dawn of creation. They are numerous, immaterial, and immortal, so they don’t need to reproduce."

Can angels be male or female? | Catholic Answers

Of course I also believe that Genesis 6 was talking about men as sons of God and not angels.

I don't mind seeing people without clothes when they're in good shape and the view is pleasant. If they don't have a nice body I would be happier if they kept their clothes on. Personal opinion of course ;)

Don't confuse having a new body with having a new physical body as we know it on this physical plane.

Chapter and verse?

Oh, so you want to play that way :D. Job 1:6 and 2:1. The question about the English translation of both Gen 6 and Job would be ,is the original language word for sons of God in Gen 6 the same as that used in Job. Maybe one of our friends in Judaism can help us there. In the writings of Josephus he is clear that the sons of God in Gen 6 is referring to some randy angels.

Okay, you win the argument based on Job 1:6 alone.

Very good point. Often people who strip down in protest to prove some (whatever) point are those who should definitely not.
