Use of pressure waves in a gaseous medium is how we communicate. Why would God have a name?
Why would an almighty God bother with an identifier that relied on pressure waves in a gaseous medium and the capacity of some obscure lifeform to detect and interpret these?
Starbucks needs something to call out when his quintuple ultra-grande latte with extra caramel is ready. Why would God have a name?

In reality God's name and the sound of God's name is the human perspective and not God.

Yep. In humorous terms, I was led to understand that invoking the name of god did this.Yes, the name and form of God is as potent as God Himself
When Moses asked His name the response was not a name, simply 'I Am' as though He would not allow anyone to name Him.
I do not believe it is possible to accurately pronounce God's name with the human mouth. I believe God did this on purpose so that His true name could not be blasphemed.
Yahweh YHWH
Jehovah JHVH
are as close as we can get, I believe.
Yes, the name and form of God is as potent as God Himself
Yep. We just refer to him as "Old Bob" up here in paradise.Except the names of God are cultural from the human perspective.
