Galatians 5:9, false teachings?

It is my belief that John 14:25-26 was for the writers of the letters we now call the Bible.
I would rethink that if I was you.

How does the Holy Spirit bring to "your remembrance" everything "Jesus said to you"?
The Holy Spirit, Jesus and God are in agreement. So "Jesus says" is anything that really came from Him, The Holy Spirit, and God.
The Holy Spirit brings back Bible Scriptures for me to chew on.

We're not talking about the witnesses, we're talking about what you are trying to teach, right?
I am not trying to teach. Teach who, for goodness sakes? You? LOL

You must know that you can search the internet to find what agrees with your belief, right? Just because you find what you believe on the internet, doesn't make it fact or right!
Oh, please! I didn't mean that.

I have the Bible translated on the internet. And I am anonymous.
Also, someone might want to protect the status quo and so if he thought I was telling the truth he would have me shot. But I have heard that what goes on the internet stays on the internet. It's too late to shoot me, I think. And, wouldn't it be funny if someone did?

Oh, what to say!

Writing the Bible and translating the Bible are not the same. I am surprised you do not know that.

Lol, I am taking about the translating, that's where you claim the errors came in, correct? Or, are you claiming the original writers didn't listen to Jesus?

Not arrogant. knowledgeable. If they had known Jesus Christ and been listening to him they could not have made any serious mistakes which changed the meaning. That is true.

Yes, it was an arrogant statement to say that the theologians and scholars who translated the Bible did not listen to Jesus, but YOU, who are not a scholar or theologian, listens to Jesus and have found mistakes! That is arrogant!

You won't understand, but someone might.
True is what people think which thinking makes things happen.
The Truth is Christ which also makes things happen, but good things in line with God's will be done. Always.

No, I don't think so!

"True is what people think which thinking makes things happen." WHAT! Is that what you think someone might understand?

What the L does that mean?

You claim "make" in Matt 29:19 doesn't actually mean "make". You claim "words" in Psalm 12:6 doesn't actually mean "words".

Do YOU know that worldly wisdom cannot hold a candle to God's wisdom?

I do!

1 Corinthians 3:19 (ESV Strong's) 19 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,”

James 1:5 (ESV Strong's) 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

James 3:17 (ESV Strong's) 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Can you give me some kind of sign that you understand how 1 Corinthians 1:28 applies?

It just doesn't apply to what we are debating!

1 Corinthians 1:28 (ESV Strong's) 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,

We are talking about the Bible, correct?

You seem to accuse me of ignorance because special "scholars" do not agree with me.

I'm not "accusing" you of anything, I just don't agree with you that you believe you are smarter than the people who translated the Bible and that you are the chosen one to bring out all the mistakes, that's all.

Do you know how many years after the death of Jesus the letters, that we call the New Testament, were written?

John 14:25-26 (ESV Strong's) 25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

They do not trust that The Word is in their hearts. They believe it is in a book.
They are putting the book's words on their hearts.
Tis why the Book is still needed. No Faith.
A form of Godliness but denying the power thereof.
Which begs the question; how many have actually received the Gospel?

A lot of translations and theologians do not agree with one another. Does a degree or peer recognition make any one person more Inspired than one who is has not?
You don't seriously think there are not translational errors do you?
I like screen names. Your's seems to imply you are into wood working. I am a finish Carpenter by trade. Presently working for a restoration company.

I am not smarter than they are, I just have more evidence.
I am not chosen, as far as I know. I choose to champion for the way, the truth, and the life.
I suspect that life sucks for most people because the words "of God" are going forth crooked.

Everything God says is pure. Not everything men say God says is pure.
I think a simple child knows that.

Seriously, I don't!

I am not smarter than they are, I just have more evidence.

You have "more" evidence than the translators of the original writings? And your "EVIDENCE" "is, it doesn't make sense, to YOU, the way it is written?

What do you think is the tool that will bring to nothing the things that are?

You?

I do not doubt that it was written for them. It was written for us too!

Where is your evidence for that statement?

Please tell me you are kidding. MAKE is a man-made added word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aren't all words "man made"?

Jesus is the Word. Are you a believer in the Trinity djhwoodwerks. Jesus is ONE.

Absolutely I believe in the Trinity! Jesus is the LIVING Word, and we have the WRITTEN word, they are different!

OK. Please provide your evidence that when "word" is written it means the written word and not the living Word.

I'm going to use the scriptures as evidence, I hope you're ok with that! I misspoke, there is the spoken word and the living word.

Acts 11:16 (ESV Strong's) 16 And I remembered the word of the Lord,

g4487. ῥῆμα rhēma;

Rhēma is the spoken word of God

John 1:1 (ESV Strong's) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

g3056. λόγος logos;

Jesus is the Logos, living Word of God
