Galatians 5:9, false teachings?

They won't believe it because they do not want to believe that so many people are wrong.
The ones who actually wrote it are not like that.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of
God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Romans 3:10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one...."

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Imagine that not only the writer of Revelation saw what would happen, but also all the writers could see that the whole world would turn away from The Living God to trust the many.

I'll tell you what is funny. It's not 100% funny. It is funny that most people who care to know what the Bible says think that Proverbs 3:5 says that they should not lean on their own understanding, so they lean on the understanding of people who they believe are greater and who had a part in making up what we should believe, but THEY lean on their own understanding. Did they not?

Are you maybe implying that they had conversations with The Lord?

God has said, All shall know me from the least unto the greatest. The anointing (the Christ ) which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him and HE in you. So say not in our hearts, Who will ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ, the Word, the Commandments down) or, Who will descend into the abyss? (That is, to bring Christ, the Word, the Commandments up from the dead). But what does it say? The word (Christ, the Commandments) is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, (that we may do it) that is, the word of faith that we preach: And that my friends is the Gospel.

They do not trust that The Word is in their hearts. They believe it is in a book.
They are putting the book's words on their hearts.

It doesn't matter to them that some of the words might be wrong because they believe God would not let free will touch any of the book's words.

Why should you care? I suppose if you don't identify as a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, you do not have to care.

If you do identify as a Christ follower you have to obey Christ' law to love your neighbor as yourself!

If you don't, I am sure you aren't a Christian.

It does matter what they will put upon their hearts. It really does.

Are you implying that you have more wisdom and knowledge than all the scholars who translated the Bible?

Are you saying that you "lean on their understanding", because you say the whole Bible isn't wrong, unless YOU don't agree with it, then you lean on your own understanding?

Are you claiming that "the Lord" talks to you, to show you were the mistakes are, but when the people were translating the Bible "the Lord" didn't tell them where the mistakes were, He just let them write their own understanding?

Who teach is in parenthesis because the Bible doesn't say that.
The Bible says do not put your trust in people..................................................and...................................it is a fact.................................that...........................................people teach.

1 Corinthians 12:28 (ESV Strong's) 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

Ephesians 4:11 (ESV Strong's) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,

If you went to a class, and you knew the teacher was teaching everything wrong, "you would keep going" so you would learn that that class isn't the right place to be?

I am beginning to think that you are playing games. It is the LAW to go to school.

Actually, I said, "If YOU went to a CLASS"! I worded it that way because I KNOW you are above the age of the law requiring you to go to school. Maybe you should pay more attention and you won't think people are playing games!

No! I trust Jesus Christ more than they did.

Are you not listening to The Helper? If not, why do you care what it says? John 14:26

I ask! I think maybe they did not ask or they did not believe in freedom.

OK. I would not go to a class where I knew the teacher was teaching non-truth.
The mistakes in the Bible are not non-truth. They are just not The Truth.

I can't believe I am still talking to you.

Teacher means instructor. The Jehovah's Witnesses are instructing people in the Bible.
They are teaching a lot of wrong things, but they teach the words and sometimes (but not often) they are right about the meaning.

Maybe teacher at 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11 means the people who give the words to others.

It doesn't take any wisdom at all to know that a noun isn't a verb.

A prophet is someone who understands meaning as he or she actually communicates God's own thoughts. A teacher is not a prophet.

I can tell that you do not consider the WHOLE Bible when you ask questions. I do not know why you don't.
Those scholars who you seem to put your trust in might not have either.

You must know that the internet makes what I do possible. It was never possible before the internet. Not for anyone.

I wonder if anyone has imagined how the status quo would be affected if I was right?
I think that it is a respect for the status quo that causes everyone else to back off like I am not doing.

Are you claiming that you listen to the Holy Spirit, but the people who translated the Bible didn't, because YOU don't agree with what they say? Why didn't God just wait for you then to have the Bible written?

It is my belief that John 14:25-26 was for the writers of the letters we now call the Bible. How does the Holy Spirit bring to "your remembrance" everything "Jesus said to you"?

No! I trust Jesus Christ more than they did.

An arrogant statement!

I ask! I think maybe they did not ask or they did not believe in freedom.

And how are you sure that it was the Holy Spirit that answered you?

OK. I would not go to a class where I knew the teacher was teaching non-truth.

Thank you!

The mistakes in the Bible are not non-truth. They are just not The Truth.

:confused::eek::rolleyes:

So the mistakes are true, just not, The Truth?

Teacher means instructor. The Jehovah's Witnesses are instructing people in the Bible.
They are teaching a lot of wrong things, but they teach the words and sometimes (but not often) they are right about the meaning.

We're not talking about the witnesses, we're talking about what you are trying to teach, right?

You must know that the internet makes what I do possible. It was never possible before the internet. Not for anyone.

You must know that you can search the internet to find what agrees with your belief, right? Just because you find what you believe on the internet, doesn't make it fact or right!

I can tell that you do not consider the WHOLE Bible when you ask questions.

I do consider the WHOLE Bible! I don't find one word and claim that the Bible is wrong! "Make" doesn't mean make, "words" doesn't mean words.

I wonder if anyone has imagined how the status quo would be affected if I was right?

Chaos and confusion!

It doesn't take any wisdom at all to know that a noun isn't a verb.

No, but it takes knowledge! Do you know what "wisdom" is? Wisdom is knowing how to apply knowledge correctly.

.
Oh, what to say!

Writing the Bible and translating the Bible are not the same. I am surprised you do not know that.

You won't understand, but someone might.
True is what people think which thinking makes things happen.
The Truth is Christ which also makes things happen, but good things in line with God's will be done. Always.

I can tell you why @djhwoodwerks I said I know you do not use the whole Bible when you post.

You seem to accuse me of ignorance because special "scholars" do not agree with me.
But, this is in there (my little friend says that you should say....because it is what you do......that you have not accused me.......semantics, I say. I feel accused and it is alright, but it wouldn't be alright for everyone.......actually maybe no one.)

I can get to the point!

1 Corinthians 1:28

cAN YOU GIVE ME SOME KIND OF SIGH THAT YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THAT ALLPIES?

I didn't mean to do that!

Can you give me some kind of sign that you understand how 1 Corinthians 1:28 applies?
Do you understand?
