When you ask religious people "what is heaven or hell?", usually they give responses such as: "If you do good in your life, you would go to heaven. If you do bad, you go would to hell.". But never do they mention what is good or what is bad, how they are defined or how they are differentiated.
I have been thinking about The "Good or Bad" for a long time now and here is what I have come forward to:
There is no good or bad, but good and bad. Everything that happens around you, at any time is good and bad at the same time. If you punch the wall and say "Damnit, this was a bad action.", is it a good or a bad thing? Well, again, its both. When you punch the wall with all your strength and express all the anger you have. You will feel nice about it that you have strength, which is 'good'. But then at the same time, you break your fingers and your hand starts bleeding the pain kicks in, which is 'bad'. Or no, not bad, but good because you'll have learned that you shouldn't be punching a concrete wall with all your strength for the next time you get angry, which is a 'good' thing ...
Another example could be; you're walking down the street and you see a rabid dog, if you don't kill the dog it will kill two children. Would you rather choose to kill the dog or let the children die?
Let's open this up a bit... If you kill the dog, you will save the children, this way you would have done a good & a bad thing. Now one day these children grow up and become cruel and torture animals or maybe even others younger & weaker than them. In this case you would have done both a good & a bad thing by saving the children from the dog. If the dog killed those children, they wouldn't have been alive and wouldn't become cruel, which would keep the victims from getting hurt.
Long story short, What I'm saying here is that when you say Good or Bad, you are saying Good & bad. Because the 'good' always travels together with the 'bad' and vice-versa. Without good you wouldn't be able to call the bad, 'bad' and without bad you wouldn't be able to call the good, 'good'.
This idea, concept, whatevery it is called, basically destroys the idea of heaven and hell. Since HEAVEN is supposed to be for the GOOD and the HELL is supposed to be for the BAD. If good can not be without bad then hell can not be wihtout heaven, and vice-versa.
Basically the idea of Hell & Heaven is destroyed by this logic.
I know that many people will be against this idea, because of their arrogance. But hey you better try learning something rather than keeping an isolated mind.
Let me know what you think about this.
