An important message to: The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses

Skanky Old Mongrel!
OK! That has to be the funniest post that I have ever read. LOL
It's the gin, Savage. :p

Did you really not know that it is written the 144,000 are from Israel?
No.
I knows nuffin', Savage.
But I will certainly mention it all to my visiting Elder next time he calls. He must have given up on me twenty years ago, Savage, but my wife makes him really nice coffee. :p

I think it means that it was Israel who is God's sponsor. I think that some of the 144,000 are adopted sons and daughters.
Well I won't hold my hopes very highly. I have led a life of naughtiness and debauchery, Savage. I have oggled honest ladies and had very wicked thoughts, Savage, and there is no chance for me. If my Missus read this she would have to agree. :p

Such honesty is refreshing. @oldbadger

Being for God isn't all about not sinning in the flesh. Have you heard of King David? I think you have!

1 Corinthians 7:19
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commandments is what matters.
Gen 17:11 You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. 12 He that is eight days old among you shall be circumcised; every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house, or bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring, 13 both he that is born in your house and he that is bought with your money, shall be circumcised. So shall my covenant be in your flesh an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant."

Matthew 5:17 “Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18 For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.

John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

So while Paul's invention is good for sales, it's a complete contradiction of (a) Yahweh and (b) Yahweh's worshiper and agent, the circumcized Jesus.

Jeremiah 31:31 Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I have made with the house of Israel And with the house of Judah a new covenant 32 Not like the covenant that I made with their fathers, In the day of My laying hold on their hand, To bring them out of the land of Egypt, In that they made void My covenant, And I ruled over them -- an affirmation of Jehovah. 33 "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

No mention of circumcision there.

And if it applied to circumcision, why was Jesus circumcized?

I think you are pretending.

Jesus was a natural son of Israel so he would be circumcised.
If a believer in JC were to do everything his way he would be restoring limbs and raising the dead. Right?

Category error.

Yahweh decreed male circumcision for the Jewish nation.

Jesus was a circumcised Jew.

His god was Yahweh, as he said in that quote.

He said that not one letter of the Law would change until all is fulfilled (which it manifestly ain't).

So Paul, nothing if not a salesman, invented a way round it which contradicted both Yahweh and Jesus but which Christians have found convenient ever since.

I didn't make that up. I quoted you the texts.

Maybe Paul was conscious of the new covenant which was prophesied.

Jesus fulfilled the law. Jesus did not command that Gentile believers must keep the Mosaic law. Ever. You're just wrong strong.

Are you or were you a Jehovah's Witness? I don't get the purpose of the thread as I am not familiar with your beliefs.

I am not a Jehovah's Witness.
The purpose of the thread is to communicate with the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses to inform them of how very, very wrong they are. What's wrong with that?

There is someone that posts on this forum who keeps saying that the only true religion is that which its adherents will correct themselves when they discover they are wrong about something.

Do you believe them that someone who died before Jesus died will never be with Jesus in Heaven?

Nothing, I was just asking your purpose for the thread, not judging or trying to condemn you at all.

@DavidFirth

No, of course not. The book of Hebrews explains that they were saved by faith, the same way we are saved. They believed God through His prophets, who proclaimed the coming of Christ, so they did believe in Jesus even before He came physically.
