Why should we hope for that? It has absolutely no impact on our lives.There will still be christians around, but let's hope that will be a minority.

There will most likely be another massive religion in ten thousand years to take the place of Christianity.
Kill the time frame and you just repeated Revelation.
Kill the time frame and replace Christianity with your choice of past major religions, just history repeating itself.
