John 3:36
No baptism mentioned.
The bible is not a riddle.
Your method of interpretation, is not how we read the bible. It actually isn't how we read anything. The inference being that salavation requires x, y, z, we use the verses that directly tell us the actual methodology for such. What you are doing, is the riddle methodology, in which, you create your rules, and actually end up contradicting the bible.Never said it was a riddle. I just choose to take the whole bible not just a couple verses.

To state that this verse is not true, is stating that the scripture is untrue. You are directly implying that scripture is a deception, /besides contradicting it.
so is a christening enough?Never said it was a riddle. I just choose to take the whole bible not just a couple verses.
You are trying to justify false teachings, invented by certain churches, and presumably individuals, within churches. The methodology for creating a different religion out of the bible, is to take a verse that , for example, has more than one inference, /like the verse you presented, and, from the context outside the direct inference, you make up a religuous inference.Of course that scripture is true.
I believe Christ so I will listen and obey to what he says.
Luke4:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
This is what Jesus said Mark16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Now did you hear him? If so did you do it? If not then your foundation will fall.

Hence,
The methodology for salvation, is already given,
And from other context, you are changing that scriptural fact.
When you do this, you are also implying /blatantly implying, that scripture is deception.
The logical reason why you would not invent your own rules, is that you therefore are implying that scripture, is a deception.
That doesn't seem to bother you at all, so I'm not really sure what religion you are practicing; but in christianity, this isn't how we practice religion.
There isn't a problem, if these are your predilection, and are noted as such, but to declare that the verse I presented is false, is declaring that scripture is false.
so is a christening enough?
You are implying that it is false. This is not a problem, for many churches, since they had pagan priests in their ranks etc, and were sometimes trying to combine magical rites, so forth, into the biblical text.Never said it was false. I will be believe and do what Jesus Christ said. You can believe in that one scripture.

I wasn't sure what your ideas on scripture, etc, were; now it is more obvious, that's all.
You have that right to believe in that.
Pagan priests had to change religions/they were not happy about this. You have that right to believe in that.
Pagan priests had to change religions/they were not happy about this.
They had to invent ideas like the church /the priesthood, could have the authority to offer salvation.
So, they revised scriptural meaning.
You're presenting false religion, and magic, and salvation from man.I believe Christ so I will listen and obey to what he says.

John3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
To be born again.
Acts2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call
Acts 10:43
All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
You're presenting false religion, and magic, and salvation from man.
You can't use the bible to support your own whimsical religion, if you don't accept all scripture. Even non-christians, arguing scripture, should have a set text, for argumentation. There are non christians who do not use all accepted canon, and that is not good for scriptural argumentation, either.
Ie your own religion, which I'm not really interested in.
The Jews were saved by the law in the old testament.
