I'm sorry can you reword that. I'm a little slow.
the righteousness toward God by faith like Jesus Christ....

It actually says "righteousness OF God". What does that mean? According to me, God IS righteousness. Also, most Bibles say, "faith in Jesus Christ". According to me, the goal should be the faith LIKE Jesus Christ had.

Phillipians 2:5 Let this mind(spirit) be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

same mind different people

Ephesians 3:16-17
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Spirit(blood) of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

2 Timothy3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
They used the Old Testament.

Romas3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

They were the exception not the rule. Just like the thief on the cross.

they were the exception because they were doing the lowliest of things to survive and be self-sufficient. they were the marginalized and disenfranchised by their culture. Jesus loved them all the more and advocated for them. You cannot serve Love and money.

God hasn't gone mute; even if Jesus has.

I don't think Paul trumps Jesus either.

Matthew 13:17
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Matthew 23:29
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

so yes, jesus said that there was righteous men, noah, abel et al.

I pretty sure you are familiar with Hebrews 11.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

They had faith and their action proved it.

noah didn't have faith in jesus. he had faith in love, the spirit of love. without belief/faith nothing can be realized. with Love all things are possible.

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

You say that it is written he is justified who BELIEVES in Jesus, but why not see for yourself that it is actually written he is justified who has faith Jesus.

You should know that the ancient language which the Bible was written does not follow modern rules of Grammar.

Greek Concordance: πίστεως (pisteōs) -- 94 Occurrences

The righteousness of the man Jesus is what justifies us who have faith like Jesus. See 1 Peter 2:21

1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

i understand this. this was prophecied. Jesus said that those who didn't understand would do this. he was persecuted by the religious elitists too for associating himself with the name.

John 5:43
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Matthew 10:22
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13:13
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luke 6:22
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Luke 21:17
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

You stick to that I will stick to mine. We can agree to disagree,

it's the english language. it isn't mine. we're using the english language to communicate via these posts. the english language is just a language. there is nothing personal about it; unless someone makes it personal.

its interesting that you are divisive and savagewind, roaringsilence, and i are inclusive.

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the Name of names and of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
